Hi. Excuse me for creating a thread for this but I don't know where to post this (I'm new to 8ch.net and I don't know very well how the site works).

Anyway, I got the HDD data for Guitar Freaks XG2 from this site (1cc) but the crack for the game wasn't included and the thread was locked so I can't contact the uploader to ask for the crack.

Does anyone here have it and is willing to upload? I'd be really grateful.

Thanks again for the help! That was indeed the solution to my problem.

After I read your solution I immediately remembered Beatmania IIDX. That game had the same problem when I tried it, about 7 or 8 years ago (IIDX 12 I think it was) and the solution was the same. I has been so long, I had already forgotten about it.

But the game works fine now.

There is a problem with the audio however. It cracks frequently and since I fixed the videos, it cracks more than before. I think it might be related to my sound card so I'll have to do some tests later (unless you know a common cause for it and a fix)

Anyway, thanks again for your help.

 No.9087

>>9079

I just gave it a shot on my machine, and it has the exact same issue. Unfortunately, I don't know of a fix, this game is notoriously picky with hardware setups. Gitadora Tri-Boost Re:Evolve (also available here) runs without any crackling though. Unless you specifically need XG2, I recommend that instead, there's a huge amount of documentation to help set it up too.

 No.9096

>>9087

I wanted to download that one actually but most of the links are dead and the few that work, only have very few parts of the whole set. I guess I was late to the party :-(

I'll wait until someone decides to reupload the whole fileset for Tri-Boost again, someday.

But in the meanwhile, I can play XG2. The audio cracking, while annoying, is not intolerable.

One thing I noticed is it has few songs available (the OST CD has more)

I guess you need an e-amusement pass to unlock them but I can only play as Guest.

Do you know if there's a way to unlock all the songs?

Pop'n Music has modded .dll files that unlock everything. However, I couldn't find anything for XG2.

 No.9128

Try changing the sample rate & frequency for your driver. That solved my problem.

RIght click at the speaker icon on a task bar -> Playback devices -> Right click on an active audio driver -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> My setting is 16 bit 48000Hz. You can try 44100Hz as well

Btw, for me, I could not make Tri-Boost work. I got a huge delay between the chart and background music. Put simply, note chips fall down around 3 seconds behind the music. I wonder if anyone know how to fix it. Thanks.

 No.9131

>>9128

Thanks for the advice.

I hadn't considered changing those settings. It's already set to 44100Hz so I'll try a higher setting and see how it goes.

About the delay in Tri-Boost, have you tried the tool for Beatmania? I remember there is a tool that allows changing the sync in Beatmania. Maybe it works with GFDM as well.

I don't have Tri-Boost to try it myself so I can't say if it works or not.

A little late to the punch, but here we are.

Temporary bemanitools build link:https://bin.jvnv.net/file/6KFXd/bemanitools.zip

Download the latest Bemanitools 5 (4 will not work) and unpack it to the game's "contents" directory
Edit prop/ea3-config.xml to set your services URL and PCBID
(Optional, but recommended) Change <dest> in ea3-config.xml from J to A to select Asia region.
Run config.bat to set up input and card readers
If using SMX dance pads: Download the SMX.DLL from the SDK: https://bin.jvnv.net/file/u5WBN/SMX.dll
If using SMX dance pads: Delete ddrio.dll, rename ddrio-smx.dll to ddrio.dll
If using MiniMaid: Delete ddrio.dll, rename ddrio-mm.dll to ddrio.dll (untested...)
Run gamestart-HD.bat to launch in HD mode
Run gamestart-SD.bat to launch in SD mode
(Optional) Add -w to the end of the last line in those batch files if you want to run windowed.

Will reply with download links in about 40 mins.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Duel Terminal by [KONAMI]

—= Cracked by MOHKERZ =—

————————————————————————————–

Hi everybody! Happy new year, bonne année à tous!

Here is a new arcade game released, once again, in a playable state.

Game is in japanese, so it may not be fully enjoyable to everybody, but maybe someone will dump a US version, or an updated version…. let's hope…

Dump includes hacked exe and dlls, a Locale emulator, DxWnd settings, and a launcher taking care of path, cursors and other commands and settings to make the game portable & one-click.

So, to run the game, just extract the archive anywhere and run the LAUNCHER exe "AS ADMIN" (if not some patches may fail).

Note that there is 2 launchers atm, one for full widescreen and one for fullscreen but with 4:3 aspect ratio preserved.

Game has been tested and working pretty good under Win7 x64.

So have fun with this one, here is the download link:

https://mega.nz/#F!txhBFYgT!1sB4vHxk4ugACpJcj6opJA

(extract with 7zip, password is "MOHKERZ" without quotes).

This next link is a first minutes gameplay video i recorded:

Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

thanks for sharing, can confirm it works but the cursor only appears on the first screen then disappears for the rest of the game which makes it harder to play with the blind clicking for me, tried on w10 any fix for this?

Some had an error when booting, it was due to webcam missing or not compatible. See attached picture.

So, if you got this 5-1503-0000 Error, just connect a webcam or use the following files where it is disabled.

Here are the patched files for computers without compatible webcam.

Just replace (or rename) the old files in the bin directory.

Thanks for the dump tanisige5ch and thanks for the playable version MOHKERZ, amazing work! It seems like this is the initial version, although there's only 52 minigames as opposed to 53 that should be there according to wikipedia page. If anyone has the most updated version with 73 minigames, please post it here!

 No.9004

From the game files, there is already 95 mini-games included here.

Did you try to activate WaiWai mode from TEST MENU?

It adds a new main menu entry…. maybe completing the game can unlock some…

 No.9005

>>9004

Yes I checked in WaiWai mode and there's 17 rows of 3 games + one game, which equals to 52 games. I don't know about any unlock conditions, the information about this game seems to be very sparse on the internet. Maybe someone with more knowledge about the game could say more about this. My information comes from japanese wikipedia page about bishi bashi, which states that the game initially started with 53 minigames and every month until february 2006 there were 2 new games added.

Dance³ is a Chinese made Maimai ripoff (but not exactly bootleg) arcade machine.

Here is an update package for Dance³ (date 10/12/2018):

https://mega.nz/#!3oN3AIBB!9Swx1jDAQD3cERb_2EWEjmnmtkNrFI87J4oNACNtKG0

but I don't know if this is anything useful, for I have no idea how to open it and whether it's encrypted …

Other update packages are publically available at http://http://121.40.220.239/, though this website looks very sketchy.

 No.8947

As a ripoff machine, there is no detailed tech specification (and I don't own the machine), all I can tell is it runs on x86 computer, video goes through VGA/DVI. Security dongle and keys are unknown but they don't go on USB. These information comes from its service manual, which is also poorly written.
