 No.221

Post some mother fucking maps!

Also assuming all anons are the Noldor in exile, which boards are which realms

File: 1448490953874-0.gif (441.38 KB, 1545x973, 1545:973, northern beleriand.gif)

This one actually has Nogrod's and Belegost's positions completely wrong, don't know how they figured this one out.

Comes with cool shit like this though

One on the left has a bit too much embellishment, although includes all the woods and terrain which is nice.

Right one is perfect for making shit up in homebrews.

And this Arda map is hilariously wrong, but nice none the less. Think it's from Atlas of Middle-Earth I believe.

 No.225

File: 1448491345266.jpg (6 MB, 8000x5389, 8000:5389, MERP - Map - Northwestern ….jpg)

And then there's this baby.

As far as post First Age Middle-Earth maps go, you have this, you don't need anything else.

 No.226

I've seen speculation maps of the rest of the world, with dwarf mountain homes labeled, but that was a lifetime ago on another computer. Good stuff here.

 No.227

>>226

That'd be a nice one.

All we know is that the last four are to the east and together in pairs, probably all at the Red Mountains.

 No.234

>>225

>that fucking resolution

holy shit.

You're reminding me of the mapboner that /tg/ used to give me.

 No.236

>>234

I know right!

I fucking love that map

I want to use it in something /tg/ related one day.

I wish there was one that good for Beleriand ;_;

 No.255

>>225

That's a great map, but it's missing Harad and it would be nice if it went at least as far as the Sea of Rhun

 No.256

>>255

We don't know about those areas to make something as extensive as this.

If you zoom in you'll see that map has just about every major location of the Second and Third ages.

File: 1450905646551.png (109.41 KB, 1539x1636, 1539:1636, Quentin_Lowagie_-_Arda_in_….png)

Another map here

>>224

>And this Arda map is hilariously wrong, but nice none the less.

How it is wrong?

 No.263

>>259

Because it makes a mistake Tolkien readers sometimes make, and assumes that the inland sea of Helcar covered Mordor, when Tolkien himself stated it didn't.

 No.276

File: 1452640387816.jpg (343.3 KB, 1497x1080, 499:360, moria.jpg)

Those dorfs really knew how to dig.

 No.278

>>276

It was the biggest manor and occupied the entire space between one side of the mountain and the other, stretched beneath all three of the Misty Mountains biggest peaks (Redhorn, Silvertine and Cloudyhead)

Incidentally, the Tower of Durin where Gandalf finally ends the Balrog is on Silvertine.

 No.280

>>225

This really gives a good idea of just how far they had to fucking walk to destroy that ring.

 No.284

>>280

Actually the scale is definitely wrong, unless they completely flattened the entire thing.

No way is that over 20 leagues. 20 leagues is already retarded long.

 No.288

 No.289

10/10

I've never seen some of those.

Excuse me?

>crack open my old copy of The Hobbit

>look at the map

>for some reason I decided to highlight a bunch of shit in red marker

>it bled through a bunch of pages

I don't even know what the fuck I was thinking.

 No.337

>>335

>writing in books without proper planning.

Did you do it as a kid?

My kid self was a shitter.
