>be a bit of a gun nut since I was a child.

>Since Pre-school, even

>Present day, sport shoot weekly, want to start own gun collection

>in one of the shittiest first world countries in the world for firearm restrictions

Is there any hope for some sense to prevail in the foreseeable future?

With the Tories becoming more and more authoritarian, I'm doubting it…

The guns pictured should help illustrate just how ass-backwards the restrictions are. If, like me, you have enough of an interest to already know most of them, this will be easy.

For those of you who aren't as educated, pop quiz.

Only one of the pictured guns is legal for purchase in the UK.

Without researching, can you guess which one?

The Barett oddly enough.

Bringing back handguns would be seriously shit, no thanks.

Bingo

And what makes you think that?

this is something that's unlikely to change because it's unnecessary.

Why un-ban guns when people are getting along fine without them?

(I know "fine" is a pretty loose term but still)

Stay cucked.

I'd rather have fewer handguns in circulation than need one to protect myself against other handguns.

Enjoy your Jew gun laws you lefty faggots. It's what you get for joining the wrong team back in the 1930's.

The momentum is in the other direction if anything. See Scotland's recent ban on airguns. This is the thought process that prevails in this country:

>A rifle killed someone? Ban it!

>A handgun killed someone? Ban it!

>A knife killed someone? Ban it!

>An airgun.. injured someone? Ban it!

What none of these reactionary morons realise is if someone has an intent to kill, it doesn't matter what you legislate against, they will find the means to do so.

I think i'd rather face someone pointing a gun at me than someone charging at me with a knife. There's no reasoning with the latter.

A little history. Originally the 1997 Firearms Act was never intended to ban handguns. It was the Labour Party that enforced the handgun ban, acting against the advice of the Cullen Report, which advised there was no reason to do so.

The Labour Party, i'm sure, now figured the natives had no way of defending themselves against the hordes of 3rd-world immigrants they were about to unleash upon the country.

In short, if you want a weapon to defend yourself with, move to another country.

Yes that sounds like excellent advice, let's only give criminals access to firearms since criminals have no respect for the law.

Since the handgun ban came into effect in Britain, gun crime rose dramatically.

Here's a quote from Sammy 'The Bull' Gravano: >Gun control? It's the best thing you can do for crooks and gangsters. I want you to have nothing. If I'm a bad guy, I'm always going to have a gun.
