is wishful thinking at best and a grave error at worst. Most women were not cuckqueans in pre-feminist society, just as most are not cuckqueans now. Exercise of male dominance does not automatically include the right of multiple partners, just as female submission does not automatically include enjoying one's dominant counterpart taking partners other than oneself. Note that prohibitions of adultery in ancient societies covered both sexes, for example.

But that has little to do with feminism's rise and more to do with most people being unable to understand this particular kind of dynamic.
