Say I have access to an engraver for signage, what potential uses could this have? People believe signs. They are official. I wouldn't mind tampering with people's perceptions of reality.

I was thinking something like a "hand scanner" and something like Place right hand here to exit simulation. To remain inside, do nothing. But I'd rather have better wording than that.

I'd also like to think of some that suggest a conspiracy. Citizen: You are hereby notified of your selection as a subject. Do not disclose this to anyone. Your participation is necessary for victory. Continue your regular activities. Your country thanks you.
If anyone has better ideas, I'd love to hear them. And if anyone would like to place any signs in their area, I will happily make and send them.

1. Take some cards from apples to apples
2. Write up a note that says something along the lines of "Congratulations! You found clue number 5!"
3. Hide the note and the card somewhere where someone will find it
4. If you really want to mess with the cabbages, include a dollar bill and imply that the next clue will have more money with it

Write the note in a nonspecific manner, as if you didn't know who would be reading it.

Some other ideas:
-full scavenger hunt, with a copy of the principia discordia at the end. Just make sure it's fairly convoluted so that only people with a spark of curiosity will follow it through to the end.
-if you're underaged and still in high school like I am, you can type random memebombs into the graphing calculators just before class ends.
