Here are the two most amusing books Discordianism has to offer; The Principia Discordia describes and outlines the religion, and The Black Iron Prison describes the prison of 'self' in which all organisms necessarily exist.
These books and more can also be found at principiadiscordia.com
If you have any material you'd like to post here, please do!

Hakagure
English: Hidden beneath the leaves
Recommended by a Cabbage
Hagakure is the essential book of the Samurai. Written by Yamamoto Tsunetomo, who was a Samurai in the early 1700s, it is a book that combines the teachings of both Zen and Confucianism. These philosophies are centered on loyalty, devotion, purity and selflessness, and Yamamoto places a strong emphasis on the notion of living in the present moment with a strong and clear mind.

How to Win Friends and Influence People is one of the first best-selling self-help books ever published. Written by Dale Carnegie and first published in 1936, it has sold 15 million copies world-wide.
contains all key points of what is taught, which is too much to put here.

It also makes me think about the emotional aspect of M/s relationships, but that's irrelevant. No.330

Id also like to add that this successfully broke the moderation's 2 year long streak of surviving with literally no rules or bans.

A quick announcement:
I got the keys to ownership of /eris/ this morning. The rules are the same, there really aren't any. Off-topic inflammatory shit will be spoilered but not deleted unless it's trying to actually break the thread with crapfloods (in which case I may edit it, or may delete it). Blatant spam (crossposted to multiple boards and irrelevant) is the one thing that will get deleted and carry a ban. NO FUCKING BROWNPILLS.

I thought you've been the owner for a while?
Anyways, have a congratulatory banner!

What, can they not be edited or something? That's too bad.
No.790
>>789
Correct. Banners currently cannot be added, deleted, or even viewed by the board owner (as a list, we see one at a time like everyone else). Hotwheels broke it during an update a few weeks back, and for a while we had no banners at all. Now they're back, but for display only. Administrative functions are still down.

Also for the love of god why do you have to use a name and trip? I didn't name everyone Cabbage for nothing, boyo

If you didn't want people to identify themselves in some way, you should have used forced anonymity. I choose to use an identifier. The tripcode is because I host events and have a prominent role on a development team, both of which mean I could be significantly harmed by an impersonator.
If you really owned /eris/ and have been participating, why the fuck didn't you log into the Dashboard to handle the brownpill spam? Either you're just blowing smoke out of your ass, or you were an incompetent moderator. I wouldn't have claimed the board if it were being competently moderated – which in this case means "as little as possible".
You had one job.

Good to know that it isn't the case.

I only took control because ownership lapsed and there was Brownpill spam to clean up. I intend to let ownership lapse again, so be watching the expiration lists if you want to take it. (I will log in, whether we've made expiration list or not, if there is spam to shitcan.)
