It seems like the banter got in the way of the game from time to time. You'd have people joking around as a goal's being scored like they're not even paying attention to the game.

Yeah we know these issues came up a lot which is why we're setting boundaries and doing auditions this time to find good chemistry matches for color commentators. However we're just trying to get team stuff finalized now (and I have midterms for the next 2-3 weeks so im fucking busy) and once that's done I'll start audition scheduling while making the 2nd promo and other stuff for /icup/ II.

The players themselves need to be edited/modded to look like the character they're portraying, that was really lame to have players that had nothing special about them.

Two commentators. Not more than that (well, three can work but the issue is chemistry, it's easier to ensure it's kept fine when there's two of them). And they need to be serious about it, actually involved in the game, and to know the names of the players and even if possible a bit of the "board culture". At least one of the two needs to know his shit about football/soccer

I think all players need to be worked on specifically. It's a lot of effort, but… hey, that's kinda the point.

Things sometimes as simple as Vivian being red-hair and an actual girl this time, for example… and you can only expect /a/ to have a fuckton of girl characters too, so you can't just make them guys.

Don't use Skype, use Mumble. Much better audio quality and easier for groups.
