Alright it's now been around a month since /icup/ I so let's get teams prepared for /icup/ II as well as a possible warmup tournament event for the fall.
All current team reps please post to show if your interested or not interested in repping your board anymore. If you are still or if any newcomers want to volunteer to rep an old board that is vacant, express interest here.
If you are confirmed what you need to do is start a roster poll on your board. This can be done easily via Google Polls which would be made to decide on new medals, demoted and removed players from the /icup/ I roster and a section for new players that may fill their place. After new players are submitted, take popular ones (1 submission or more) and if possible do a strawpoll where most popular options would get on the team. And of course take the boards wantings into consideration as well and then share new completed rosters and team music in the appropriate sticky.
Also team reps for newly rep'd boards looking to register for /icup/ II and future events please post here letting us know who your volunteering to help and if the roster and music are confirmed let either me or Saviour know so we can allocate a spot for your team on PES15.

Hey, I'm the new team representative for /pol/. We have some work to do before /icup/ ii, so let's get this shit started.

Try to choose only a starting eleven. Choices with the most votes will get "important" positions such as CF, GK, and SS while choices with less votes will get things like DMF and CB. I'll choose the substitutions from the leftover choices.
I don't see an anthem or goalhorn in the wiki, so let's get some suggestions for that. If you want to suggest alternate goalhorns for certain players, go right ahead.
Currently, we have a good logo (pic related), so unless someone thinks they can do better we can skip that.
Our kits are alright, but they could be improved. I'll post a pic of our current kit so we can perhaps find someone who can export a better one.

Lets talk new kits. What can work since the JUST kits don't work since Brendan is gone to /just/.
Beyond /icup/ II: What then?
As we are only a rough 50 days from our next cup, we need to set foundations whats after that?
I'd say we need to put a junior cup and have a relegation promotion system, while it does mean it's another cup to host, It makes accommodating more teams easier. I mean another 16 teams mean we are at 48 which is perfect for this system, and we can let boards drop our and drop in the junior cup with interest going or coming. Besides there are a lot of good candidates to introduce to the cup, we even still have a Top 25 board still not in (/homosuck/, It's for homestuck, don't worry).
I mean this cup helps different communities in this site interact with each other so it can help smaller boards grow, we need to look into that.
I can easily think of many candidates for the cup other than /homosuck/
/m/, /jp/, /liberty/, /deutsch/, /aus/, /egy/, /x/, /ck/, /rzabczan/, /pinoy/, put /islam/ back in, /arda/, /adgd/, /2hu/ and /o/.
Most of these boards showed interest before, such as /m/ "/icup/ II", /liberty/ "/icup/ I" and /pinoy/ "8CC Cup"
I think we need to start our recruitment for the next cup form even now because taking 6 months to prepare for every cup is mental

Alright, we gotta figure out how to get this game more ridiculous, and that ain't gonna happen without us all learning to mod this shit more so.
We've gotten custom kits (uniforms) working as well as custom numbering and lettering on them. I know some /pone/ guy got their teams faces replaced with pictures, but I know we can do better than that if we put our minds to it.
I plan on spending part of the week going through what I can of the tutorials on implyingrigged's wiki, as well as just going through the files themselves to see what we can change. I think the priority should be things such as pitches, player skins/models, and little fun shit like menu items.
I got a few things I'm looking into already, but any help would be appreciated.

Where are the videos of the matches?
With the first day being a success I'd like to remind people of a few things.
The first one is probably the most important. This is NOT a competition against the 4CC. 8chan is supposed to be it's own thing and not 4chan + fuck 4chan and this should be the same. In one of the early matches one of the commentators read out posts from 4chans cup general and boasted about how we have more viewers than the /vg/ league (which is not really an accomplishment as it is just for one board instead of the entire website) which really disappointed me. This is not a dickswinging contest for viewers.
This brings me to the second point. The viewer count was massively inflated. While the around 600 viewers we got are amazing a lot of those are not from 8chan. We were on the hitbox frontpage and for the first few games we were at around 300 viewers, which is still very good mind you, but it only really shot up once someone posted threads about it on 4chans /4ccg/, /pol/ and /mlp/.
This brings me to my third and last point. Don't post about this on 4chan. This is supposed to be about 8chan and not about how we should rub in 4chans face about how much better we are. Posting it there will do nothing but bring unnecessary spam to the hitbox chat. We should not focus on one upping 4chan. We should should focus on entertaining 8chan. Don't forget that this is about fun.

Anons from /pone/ have been leveling accusations of past impropriety at the organizers of this cup after succesfully unmasking the participation of one "Rarifag" who is known to have been banned from the 4chan Cup by the commissioner.Now it is claimed that Cotton, aka CanadaFag, is the same CanadaFag that was banned from the 4chan Cup, and that the organization of this cup may be for the personal aggrandizement of himself and his comrades.
It is the purpose of this thread for CanadaFag, Rarifag, and the other organizers and volunteers behind the 8cc to have a dialogue with the anons of 8chan and refute, corraborate, or otherwise address the concerns of anons at large.
On the flip side of the coin, it is up to the anons putting forth accusations and those with concerns about the motives and characters of the accused to come forward and present evidence and argument. If someone has done something wrong, or does not in your opinion deserve to officiate on behalf of 8chan, you need to speak up and explain why. No reasonable anon should just take your word for it.
If it is found that the accused have rightfully earned our distrust, we must be prepared to pick up the pieces and organize a cup without them; but if it turns out this is just a bunch of politically-motivated drama and that no one has actually done anything wrong, there is no reason to disrupt the cup just because some anons here or on 4chan dislike the people organizing it.
That's my two cents on the matter, court's now in session. Let's get this over with as painlessly as possible.

After looking at the current strawpoll results, it can be inferred that the sport most widely chosen by anons is Soccer.I'd give it a couple more days, to see if others are willing to join on the voting, but I think we should start some serious thinking about how many people are actually gonna care/show up.
I personally think that we should create another poll, this time to let anons select which boards they're willing to support. The following boards have been selected, with two extra options in the form of /rest/ and /gamergate/. More on that later:

The idea behind this initial, second voting phase is to see if it's actually worth it to have a /rest/ team, as well as to see whether or not other major boards would be interested in the cup at all (in which case, we'll promote one or more of the teams residing in /rest/).
By the way, does strawpoll support multiple voting as well? Because I feel we need to give people more than a single choice for this one.
