Just hand developed a roll of pinhole photographs and scanned them in. These were taken with a holga 135 pinhole camera on tri-x 400 film. I developed them with fujifilm chemicals. 7 minutes in the developer, 1 minute in the stop bath, 9 minutes fixer, and a 10 minute water wash.

The roll was really overexposed because I miscalculated how long I should shoot each frame for (it was my first time shooting with a holga pinhole). Anyways, here they are.

Also, general pinhole photography thread.

IMG_2187 turned out really grainy even compared to the others.

The second one reminded me of this.

I think they're basically geniuses in the emotional complexity of their music, although I find them kind of inconsistent on a track-by-track basis. There's a heavy feeling of melancholic nostalgia in their sound (inspired s lot by their childhoods in the '70s and early '80s) which comes across to me as less superficial than a lot of other nostalgia-inspired music.

Their album covers reek of nostalgia.

I listened to that album for the first time some months ago at 2am while pretty sleep deprived. (Spoiler alert, maybe, kinda)

**I was reaally dazed out. I was dreaming about (surprise) my childhood, more specifically an odd bunker-like laundry room our housing complex used for some reason. I'm not even sure if it exists in hindsight.

And holy shit when that "I love you" came during the second track I felt like I was going to melt into another dimension. Seriously. I felt warm and dizzy and it was as if my body fell through my bed into some void. It still kills me every time.**

Really nice board btw, just found this.

Uh oh I'm sure double asterisk was [spoiler]. I just didn't want to potentially ruin anyone's listening experience.

Their music really messes with your head. I actually get depressed listening to them sometimes since the eerie nostalgia becomes so overpowering. It makes think of hazy childhood recollections, false memories, and paranormal phenomena (like that In Search of... show with Leonard Nimoy that used to deal with that kind of stuff). The Sandison brothers really know how to get into your head, and there's really an incredible amount of attention to detail in cultivating an aura of mystery.

I've experienced the falling-through-the-bed sensation you mentioned before going to sleep one night; it felt like the beginning of an out-of-body experience or something.
