I've always theorized that Pokemon/human breeding is why there are humans who have psychic abilities. For one of these psychics, somewhere down the line one of their ancestors fucked an Alakhazam or something, resulting in psychic abilities (though not as powerful as actual Psychic Pokemon, obviously).
