Found this on /pol/ and I think it has a lot of crossover with this board's topics.

Basically this video series ties together academics and business people people in a "conspiracy" to redirect gaming culture to make it acceptable for use in schools. The games which are intended for use in school present politically correct agendas and are designed to change the attitudes of their players.

If the game has clear intentions to do so then yes. No kid got into the army because of halo because they knew it was fantasy, but I see that a lot of people from my gen (millennial) have been influenced by propaganda we were given as kids which in retrospective was engineered for that purpose and little else

Think captain planet: none of the enemies/bad guys are pro-nature (to represent some real bad environuts like the ALF) nor are any of the good-guys industrialists with a sustainability angle. No, its all clear-cut nature and industry, there is no middle point, you were either a planeteer or one of the evil guys pushing for technology and industry thus killing mother earth/gaia

Like most of us barely cared but now I see the consequences of this
