Welcome to /32/, Infinitychan's Psychopolitics board.
Definition
Psychopolitics can be defined as the study and practice of the ways psychology, sociology, and politics interrelate and give rise to one another, and includes (but is not restricted to):
>Ideological Propaganda
>Psychological Warfare
>Cult Psychology
>Media Manipulation
Basically, practices that involve mental coercion. Think anything from "The Manchurian Candidate" to "They Live".
Goals
The main goal of the board is sharing information that will allow us to learn to detect, resist and possibly apply coercive techniques.
The more specific objectives are:
*Analise media for ideological messages
*Decompose of statements so as to show their true meaning
*Study memes, from their creation to their final effect. Possible experiment with meme creation.
*Discuss the ethics of Psychopolitics
*Develop techniques for resisting coercion
*Find ways for those without media control to wage psychological warfare
*Unveil the inner workings of the media.

Old trolls going full-SJW
This user here >>268600 raises a good point which I been thinking about since GG started last year.
Basically a lot of members of the 'antigamer' brigade and the most aggressive SJWs in general seem to be all former trolls from the 1999-2007 era, from randi harper to "sarah butts" to zoey quinn they all seem to be former members of some of the worst troll groups from that time like Helldump and GNAA among others
While some give that hint that they might just be doing it for the money since many SJWs have managed to make a career out of e-begging the reality is that many have gone too far for it to be just a ruse.
So the question is what motivated this people to become what they used to mock relentlessly? were they actively co-opted like bitting beaver did to SA? is their motivation a combination of financial and social(fame, respect) incentives or there's something more?
Lets discuss
Time to feed
Another attack, huh? Now there'll be more, and of course if they can get into the heart of the EU, they can hit anywhere. Think we need more legislation to fix this? More gun control? They had Kalashnikovs! All the sleeper agents, anyone could be a threat. At least we have troops on the streets, but more has to be done.
In fact, we need to strike now, before it's too late. You heard that they coordinated the last attacks by phone? If only we could have noticed.
Uniting "Have Nots" against "Enemy Target""
Common themes of:
Socialism (poor, uneducated), Christianity (meek, sick, lost, helpless), Political Correctness/mass immigration ("minorities"), University campus SJW (poor kids with little power that are easy to confuse/brainwash), Feminism (weaker sex), Black Lives Matter (uneducated/poor), Rules for Radicals book (attached), etc
Are all movements that gather and unite masses of poor, uneducated, often stupid "Have Nots" and set them to work against existing power structures / healthy, strong, rich, intelligent segments of society.
Another interesting common thread to these is that almost all are originated from a Jewish source. Whether it be Saul (st Paul re-writing what Jesus meant for his own ends), or Saul the author of "Rules for Radicals", or George Soros funding/organizing: black lives matter and mass immigration to EU, etc
And none of these movements are active in Israel.
Wanting your ideas and constructive criticism.
Google is coming
So in case you guys didn't hear google just hired moot
Yeah, that moot
For what? its not clear, the PR is the same BS most companies push to blogs, but my theories are:
A- moot is going to be part of some new project to beat facebook, which I doubt since 4chan was never mainstream and canv.as was a total failure
B-google is going after IBs and anonymity in general, very likely after the plus and YT fiasco where they wanted all accounts to switch to real names.
What the fuck happened with TED?
Watch this vid if you want, but the TLDR is some old fart pro-bullshitter the kind that companies hire to get their employees to shutup about low wages and bad working conditions to tell them to be "more positive" instead with a powerpoint full of meme stock images
And this is not the worse of all, most new TED videos are just crap, its no longer scientists and inventors showing stuff but blowhards like this idiot, and not in TEDx which was always shit-tier but in the TED main events which costs a ton of money to attend.
Are there any exposes on the inner working of TED? any actual leaks about how it works and who decides what goes on the stage? any ex-employees talking about the current state of this organization?
I need actual information with sources, not theories or conjectures.
Becoming a Super Villain
So, a few years ago I discovered the work of Anton LaVey. He had truly granted me some perspective on the true difference between good and evil I had always felt in whatever I have instead of a heart. Evil is nothing more than indulgence in carnal desires, giving into human nature and satisfying the urge to prioritize one's desires. Good is nothing less than horrific dogma drilled into the minds of people from an early age, demanding sacrifice of everything from finances to bodily health for the sake of strangers.
As such I embraced evil, and was more than willing to peacefully progress through my life reaping the rewards of living with the Satanic principles. Unfortunately, I couldn't do it. The number one Satanic sin was ignorance for a reason, and the injustice resulting from so much of it is nothing short of rage inducing.
Satan teaches that in order for things to happen you have to make it happen, and so I've given into the role I've felt the most comfortable playing since I was a child: the villain.
I'm going to become a super villain, starting from the ground up. My plan is to liberate as much of the world as possible from the different incarnations of puritanism and cultural Marxism that hold people back from doing great things and living up to their fullest potential. I've got the basic lay out for my plan, but it will need to be altered frequently based on what events actually unfold as time goes on.
I've collected a lot Paladin-Press reading material as well as practical information from /k/ info libraries and the Parazite Virtual Terrorist Training Camp. I'm also currently reading some psychological manipulation eBooks from the /32/ library which I appreciate very much by the way. I currently plan using these to acquire a couple of henchman and arming them to do some decent thievery to fund the next level of the operation.
So, if anyone wishes to contribute their thoughts or otherwise to the effort, or maybe has their own dream of overthrowing world governments, feel free to contribute. I plan on updating with progress and maybe giving some real world reviews of the books in the various action libraries I'm drawing from.
Wish me luck.
Top-tier brainwashing techniques thread
Top-tier brainwashing techniques thread
He's somewhat of a step-by-step theory I've been pondering, stemming from speculation pertaining to media like the Harry Potter Series.
#1 Strongly assimilate a real world problem with a fictitious one.
#2 Create a context for that problem. the more compelling the context, the easier it is to convince.
#3 Tie the Issue with the context, and the context with an Ideology
#4 Create an appeal to Emotion, Logic or Humor that favor the Ideology. Strongly correlate the Ideology as being morally correct
#5 Repeat. Refine the appeal, remove or counter opposition, make use of convincing straw-men.
#6 Create a situation Which heightens the emotional appeals to a a fight of good versus evil
any suggestions for improvement?
Any brainwashing theories, methods or observations welcome

I would use dishonest tactics such as changing IDs to pretend that more posters agree with me than is the case, emotional arguments, ridicule, violence (as a last resort) etc in a desperate attempt to change their diseased minds. This is OK because they don't believe in logic anyway so I can't argue with them logically.

Related and Favorite Boards
If we hope to attract more users to our board it is only fair that we direct our users to other interesting boards which may interest them.
Let's use this board to post boards we like and/or think are related to /32/ (remember to add ">>>" in front of the name to link it directly).
All of the political boards are related to ours in some way, but the main one tends to bee to rigid in its perspective. Interesting alternatives are:
>>>/liberty/, which focuses on non-authoritarian politics, and
>>>/midpol/, that tries to find a balanced position to counter the bias that all of the others have.
Some boards that touch on topics which overlap with ours are:
>>>/his/ for historical discussion of any age. The users are very knowledgeable and seem happy to help those who know less than them.
>>>/bmw/ which could be called a place for applied psychopolitics, with a very obvious right-wing tendency.
>>>/phil/ discusses philosophy, and is populated by intelligent individuals who enjoy learning and thinking.
>>>/histories/ has been mentioned here before. It has a general approach towards humanities and social sciences.
If you can think of any other, be sure to let us know by posting here.

Example of Memetics?
Found something interesting, I think it’s a good example of memetic warfare in the wild. The current mainstream economic narrative is that a collapsing China is causing negative contagion to the U.S markets.
I found these posts on reddit that all show a comparison between clean air over a western allies country and smog over China. The same image has been posted in the past with very similar titles, see below -

And this is the most interesting one, it’s got the same title but a different image. The image is a comic, the final speech bubble says: “And that 4chan is where the devil makes potty”. Aside from none of it being funny or making sense, you end up reaching this last speech bubble and none of it really making much sense other than, perhaps, to connect this negative feeling (“4chan”, “devil”, “potty”) with the idea of the concept of China.

These users have only ever posted this single thing to reddit. i.e if they posted under the same user it would be too easy to trace these posts with similar names over time being pushed and connect some dots. Reddit users are in disarray.
This is the most popular post within the comments and it's top response:

Why does this post and this have the same title?

It's fucking confusing, right?
One post even told them:
"Must be some kind of automatic reposting bot that got mixed up."
An automatic bot posted this link in the comments that fortunately does a reverse image search across reddit. The bot identifies spam bots for users:

Anyway I think it’s a good example of isolated memetic magic in the wild. Reddit users are good laboratory rats.

How would you fight this? Are there good historical examples showing a native population that fought back and won?

On Memetics
Memetics is a field that was initially attempted to be research on at least one 8chan board, namely /BMW/.
The results never were collected because at every turn discussion of memetics as a potential vector for disseminating information pertinent to halting the current social decline was derailed by at best genuine occultist believers and at worst malicious subversives.
To begin memes are potentially a groundbreaking way to communicate many messages in a concise, compact and most importantly of all, humourous way. indeed the same meme may contain numerous messages, for example the (by anon standards) ancient Pedobear meme, this conveys a huge number of meanings, depending on minor changes and additions to the meme itself, so when depicted with a person with normal expression this clearly indicates of course that the pictured is a pedophile, when alone or in an approval seal it is simultaneously a warning to anons to not go into the thread, and a call to the mods for removal of the thread.
The chans actually hold a major advantage in this medium of information dissemination as old media or even new media who are late gen X or early millenials for some reason do not quite have the required ability to read the subtle nuances of a meme, perhaps it's a matter of age, perhaps a matter of left-leaning offence and elitism, some combination of the two or neither. however it does stand as a significant advantage to the various chan boards most notably /pol/ in getting information out to people beyond normal social media and bloggers etc's speed of adaptation, a fantastic example of this being the meme and slur "dindu" or "dindu nuffin" which evaded media call outs for the hilariously racially charged epithet it truly is for more than a year and indeed most people until the /k/-baltimore altercation would not have known what you meant had you said it but those who looked it up or who paid attention to context.
as such memes have two particularly beautiful applications, one of which being pseudo-cryptography, in which multiple layered meanings on a meme allow it to be used in different settings via posters or some such to communicate something about a place or group frequenting it, or as this piece seeks to explore for disseminating a trail to be followed, a notable example of which would be "with open gates" and its eclipsed but in many ways more skillfully executed with less opsec violations "cinder to cinder". memes can also be used to draw people insidiously into spaces where one may want them, in a twist upon the (also ancient) summerfag meme, what one ought to do is create a particularly innocuous seeming but also completely hilarious meme that leads exactly where one wishes such a thing to go, so in the case of /pol/ create something leading to their world view, /r9k/ effectively still uses pepe to this end with varying implications. the applications of memetics as being able to lead people without preaching is in and of itself an art that was lost to 8ch before it could even come to be due to the "meme magicians" who thought that ebola chan was real and the reason it worked had nothing to do with african paranoia at westerners as a whole being exacerbated but instead was because ebola-chan is "an egregore" suffice to say while an amusing and useful lie, when widely held as truth by the community crafting the memes that are supposed to in some way in the case of /pol/ resist social degeneration and the spread of islam into the west and into every european woman they can get their hands on's crotch, it prevents the spread of the idea, now thankfully for /pol/ trump has already figured this out and it is scaring the media, it is scaring the establishment. and they will do anything to shut him down as a result.
The problem with this knowledge is how dangerous it is, the left is unable to craft humourous and effective memes since they have run out of any material that isn't seen as the same old unfunny tripe that is simply shitting on what everyone wants, a stable society where their children do not run the risk of being blamed for their own rapes at the hands of foreigners as seen in germany. as such with the lefts inability to have a real sense of humour about anything the art of memetics remains forever partially closed to them, to grasp it successfully they would have to change their entire goals to not amount to western civilisation's devastation and replacement.
That said /pol/ is currently unable to grasp it properly too, /pol/ seems since to instead of prefer thinking about memetics rationally believe the meme magic lies and seem unable to get beyond it. if however they somehow do get beyond it, unfortunately with the voraciousness of the media's hawkish gaze upon us, they will attempt to destroy all attempts to capitalise on such advances. the situation as such remains in a seemingly perpetual stalemate with neither side able to gain the upper hand in this battlefield.
Games and the Reinvention of Reality
So I've been hearing about the development of video games for the purpose of recreating the nature of the world to the next generation of students.
(specifically, from this blog http://www.invisibleserfscollar.com/reimaging-the-nature-of-the-world-in-the-minds-of-students-alters-future-behavior-and-social-events/)
The term "gamification" has been gaining a lot of popularity in the last few years and I predict that there will most likely be a public debate on the inclusion of video games in schools soon. Electronic gadgets such as laptops and tablets are quickly making their way into our schools. As a matter of fact, many schools have already included tablets in their list of school supplies. But this is besides the point; we are going to see a change in the way we teach our children rather than just the addition of an electronic gadget. Among one of these games is the game Quandary. What I'll be doing in this thread is a play-through of this game.
It's available online for free at http://quandarygame. org/
There are 3 chapters and I'll be playing through the first one to see what the fuss is all about. I won't be making any reflections on this. Hope you enjoy it or find something of interest.
Summary of the game pulled from the website itself:
Players aged 8 and up shape the future of a new society while learning how to recognize ethical issues and deal with challenging situations in their own lives.
Players lead a new human colony on a distant planet. They must make difficult decisions in which there are no clear right or wrong answers but important consequences – to themselves, to others in the colony and to the planet Braxos. Players develop skills such as critical thinking, perspective-taking and decision-making. Quandary provides a framework for how to approach ethical decision-making without telling players what to think.
Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, santa claus is coming to town!
"Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is a Christ mass song written in America in 1934. It has become one of the biggest sellers in American history.
I just want to note that it is funny how much of culture and traditions that are nowadays owned by corporations but that will not be the main focus of the thread.
I want to us to discuss the song itself. It has an upbeat melody, yet the lyrics are scary. We are told to watch out, because there is an all seeing, all knowing character coming, and we WILL be judged.
We are told not to cry, nor to pout. This stands in stark contrast to the modern viewpoint that one should console crying children, rather than tell them to shut up.
So far I've gone over the superficial properties of the song. Please help me drill deeper into this

Lucis Trust set to define world goals in 2015.TV/Movies subliminal messages thread
So has anyone here noticed subliminal hidden messages within popular movies and TV?"Google Is Your Friend"
Can someone pinpoint where the phrase "Google is your friend" originates from? I'm trying to find early mentions on usenet or elsewhere but I am having difficulty.
Law & Order SVU
The recent episode of Law& Order Special Victims Unit deals with the problem of online harassment of women involved in gaming. It depicts a dedicated programmer who is doxxed swatted, kidnapped and raped by a small group of males who are enraged by her presence in the gaming world. Most of you which have watched this episode or read about it have already figured out it is a blatant piece of ideological propaganda, so let's take a moment to analyze the message a bit more clearly.
Manufacturing of News
Check this link: https://archive.is/7C9Um
Besides the irony of gawker having a blog to check if news are factual (pot calling the kettle....) its amazing how many news are just plain blatant lies with poorly photoshopped pictures and how hard is to stop them from spreading.
This reminds me of the recent shootings in the USA where all blogs rushed to say it was 3 white men in military gear who did and continued to say it even a day after it was proved they were a muslim man and his pakistani muslim wife. Then they proceeded to say the couple had nothing to do with ISIS even though now the FBI has confirmed there is a strong connection.
The reason why I mention this last case is because it shows the risk that fake news can trigger a massive domino effect when there is literally no interest at all to have check any facts and the news being reported are not trivial filler but the kind of stuff that could trigger a war.
Need some good ideas and help
My brother is morbidly obese to the point where he may die in 10 years if he doesn't change.
I've tried kindly talking to him, I've tried rudely motivating him, I don't know what to do to help him. Do you have any books I could read to give me an idea on how to properly lead him to the right path?
I'm sorry this is a blog post, please delete it if you'd like. I just need ideas
BLM as a distraction tactic
You know before this BLM nonsense started I remember police brutality being a BIG issue
They were getting close to talking about it in congress
And then out of nowhere comes this group of borderline insane people with no clear target except "fuck the cops" who don't care that police brutality affects everyone and not just black people and who are hostile to pretty much every other group. They even go and harass sanders who is by far the most leftwing candidate yanks have had in decades.
Of course this group is full of shady characters, people known to run scams in the black community, white people pretending to be black, ex-cons and to top it off they are receiving funding from some VERY shady sources that really have to reason to back this people.........
..........unless of course their objective was to derail the police brutality conversation away from reasonable discussion and into the realm of bullshit circular logic and race card nonsense so people will just get tired of it and the whole issue dies down.

Controlling the window of discussion
So I'm sure many of you are familiar with the concept of the Overton window:#thinkserious
Found this on /pol/ and I think it has a lot of crossover with this board's topics.
Basically this video series ties together academics and business people people in a "conspiracy" to redirect gaming culture to make it acceptable for use in schools. The games which are intended for use in school present politically correct agendas and are designed to change the attitudes of their players.
The videos can be viewed on a youtube playlist or embedded webms, both found here
Practical Techniques
What are some practical techniques of suggestion to program/deprogram myself? What are some practical techniques to influence others in face to face or written communication? Is it possible to build a mental firewall to protect myself to a degree?
For example, I would like to be able to program myself so that upon a certain trigger my memory would be greatly enhanced or to be able to slip instantly into a selected emotional state.
I already use a keyword and tactile feedback to quickly slip into a theta state when meditating. I did this by mentally writing in pseudo-code a "program" every time I started meditating. Now I can just call the program name and I don't have to imagine all the "code".
However, I assume that a lot of people on this board must have more effective techniques for controlling themselves and others.
I am aware of NLP and hypnosis, but searching for such information produces huge amounts of nonsense and snake-oil. The stuff that seems legit is mostly theoretical and doesn't give actual exercises to perform.
If this is not /32/ material, apologies in advance, though I would appreciate directions as to where to ask.
Global economic collapse
Would trying to hasten the global economic collapse be beneficial for us?Aesthetics
This may initially seem like an off-topic discussion, but consider the following:Religion
What role do religions play in matters of manipulation and coercion?
Most anti-religious individuals oppose them because they are supposedly always based on deception of the common people by individuals who hold authority in that belief system (priests and such). The presence of unquestioning dogma forces individuals to change their perceptions of reality in order to fit the established belief system, or is that an unrealistic generalization propagated by the anti-religious? Thomas Aquinas was not against the use of reason to reach conclusions, but in his views reason should always be submitted to faith, and if a rational conclusion conflicted with a revelation of faith, it should be discarded.
On the other hand there are religions and religious beliefs that do not preach a submission to earthly authority, or that do not have a strict dogma. Could these paradigms have any positive effect on people, especially when it came to protecting them from manipulation? Could belief from non-rational sources provide the individual with a stable and permanent point of reference that helps them more than it hinders them?
I think these are questions worth questioning, and I hope this is the right place to ask them.
The infiltration of internet culture
Not a fan of polandball since I find the humor to be pretty dumb and the fanbase but suffer from doublespeak by being overtly PC about some countries and incredibly racist with others
Anyway, my point is that a friend sent me this today: https://archive.is/ZLJfR
And I couldn't help but think it was the work of some PR agency
Some observations:
>it comes right after movements like pegida are gaining strength (mostly due to the ineptitude of the left-wing rather than their own achievements)
>the quality its far better than the usual polandball comic, looks professional-grade
>the message its almost cliche god vs evil, clearly intended for a more casual audience than the usual polandball public
>it clearly tries to smear certain sectors by equating them to the nazis
>only highlighting the damage russia did, much like cold war propaganda, since russia its "evil" again, or basically no longer aligned with certain interests
Sexual psychology and sexual fetishes as a weapon against population
I've been for long time interested in sexual psychology and sexual fetishes as a weapon against population, especially against white people.
Sexuality in general is being used to promote anti-white values, and lifestyles. Many bad and harmful behaviour is promoted by sexualizig it, and having positive social conitations attached to it.
For example in rap culture and in rap videos black rappers are always surrounded by halfnaked women shaking their ass. Women are sex objects in our psychology what ever feminist wanted it or not. It's not something that can be socially enginere off.
I've wathed internet porn for most of my life. And I can honesty say all my fetished and general sexuality comes from porn. I don't believe that sexuality is biological in a sense like the gay community claims. I've spoken to many gay people and privatly they all agree that they weren't gay first. Of course it's hard to have a honest discussion about this subject, because gay rights movement is more identitarian and thus they refuse to look the issue objectively. I don't say that sexuality is not genetic. On the contrurary I believe sexuality as a mechanism is deeply imbedded into our genes, just like other needs like hunger. We feel hungry when our stomack is empty, which gives our brain the signal to feel hungry. Sexuality works the same way, but I believe that social and sexual association are intertwined, and most of our fetished are memes, that were sexualized into obsessiveness.
I'll write two topics on sexuality which I believe are crucial for us to understand, so we can combat them and build immunity against them.
1) How to combat and/or reverse feminine homosexuality, which in it's opsessive compulsions turns into transexualism. The basic idea by this is to stop porn making weaker and submissive men.
2) How to combat Cuckold fetish, and worshipping of the black sexual masculinity?
I know there are a lot of smart guys here. I hope we can find solutions.
FIRST EVER BOOK CLUB
Let's start the first /32/ book club meeting. What is the "World maker ritual"?
I keep hearing sketchy references in passing to this, sometimes on blogs, sometimes in 8chan threads. (I don't know if it should be spelled "world maker", "worldmaker" or "world-maker.")
Google yields almost nothing about this, nor does archive.org. The few times I've seen open allusions to it, it is people saying that anything on the net about it gets scrubbed quickly. Later I try to find these references…and they appear to have disappeared, too. It's very frustrating.
What I can discern is as follows:
1) It is allegedly a highly secret or esoteric Jewish ritual.
2) Sacrifice – perhaps human sacrifice – may be involved. (However, I think it differs from the more well-known "Moloch" child sacrifices that may or may not have taken place in the ancient Middle East among Jews, Caananites, and/or others)
3) The goal may be to give the ritual performer some kind of Godlike power or even turn such person into a diety. Conversely, it may have something to do with the state of Israel.
4) It may be connected to the theory that the holocaust of the Jews in WWII (whether or not "6 million" died or not) was a ritual sacrifice to bring about the creation of the state of Israel. Or, conversely, it may be something even bigger that hasn't happened yet.
5) Whenever detailed information about this appears on the net, it seems to be "removed" by someone or something.
Help me understand, /32/. Has anyone heard of this? Is it a bunch of bullshit or something real? If the latter, what do we know about it?
Any input welcome.

So do you believe the official narratives? That Russia is at some perpetual war with USA and that shifting alliances are real and that the wars are real?
Why do you think police get militarized and there is so much research into controlling peoples minds but so little curing common diseases?
Well of course those ppm of toxins that destroy your body are for your safety. Nevermind that these toxins could be removed to 0ppb in your food and water but are not.
It isn't even about profit. Why would it be? Who creates the money and prints the debt? Anyway. Here is some news about Oceania.
US military officials are loudly bragging about their latest initiative to reassure Europe, a program that was called, unlikely enough, the European Reeassurance Initiative (ERI), and which to this point has involved moving a lot of sand around, and building some roads in rural parts of several Baltic states.
ERI is nominally the latest in a long line of programs the Obama Administration has announced to “combat Russian aggression,” and which are meant to build up nations along the Russian frontier to support massive US military deployments to spite Russia.
The plans are often ill-conceived, as the US idea to deploy huge amounts of tanks into several of these countries ran into problems because the tanks are stored in swampy areas where the mud makes it virtually impossible to drive a tank, and NATO has taken to having to “ship” those tanks back and forth to their various anti-Russia photo ops.
In this regard, ERI is trying to be the solution for the military-created problem, hauling thousands of tonnes of sand into those swampy areas to build “tank trails” that they can drive the tanks through, along with roads to support the infrastructure for the NATO operations in the area.
The army sees it as a win-win, as the pricey construction involves the use of contractors, and is subsequently popular with the host countries, and also lets the army deploy people to not-war-zones, which is “good for morale.”
That the whole program is make-work to “reassure” European nations about the US commitment to take part in some unlikely, disastrous future war with Russia is just gravy for them, as the Pentagon sees talk of a new Cold War as a great excuse to push for bigger budgets, and if they can’t physically position forces in the Baltic swamps for this scheme, they’ll build up the swamps so they can.
The Marine Corps' mission in Eastern Europe is rapidly evolving in the face of Russian saber-rattling, according to the outgoing commander of the Romania-based Black Sea Rotational Force.
Control of online spaces, steering attitudes
Can we talk for a moment about this trip user on /pol/?
They trip with the name Rach and avatar with photos of Rachel Maddow on /pol/ and news boards.
Now, whoever is doing this, has been doing it for some time. And they do it on /pol/ and /n/ here. These boards have tradition of antagonizing anything overtly "leftie" in appearance- something that the person posting as Rach obviously knows. So they are using Maddow specifically in order to provoke and incense.
Now, the content of their posts consists of lots of language like "stormderp", espousing feminism and equality and criticizing mention of jews.
My queston is, is this some kind of reverse psychology to reinforce /pol/ ideologies? Is this a manipulation operation to make people emotional and responsive, and to enforce dichotomous thinking? Because that's what it seems like. In all of these threads, posters inevitably take the bait and go on emotionally charged diatribes defending and clinging to whatever rach opposes...
Your thoughts, please.
Drug culture and big pharma
Hello /32/, I enjoy this board.
I wanted to ask you guys your opinions on drug culture/use in the west and how that ties into the political landscape.
I've noticed that drugs seem to trend a bit, for example opiates (heroin, pain medication) seem to come in and out of style in cycles. In the USA the heroin problem was pretty much under control by the early-mid 1990s, at least outside of your major cities. It wasn't totally gone but it was defiantly on the decline.
Sometime after 9/11 it seemed like everyone was getting pills. Doctors were handing out oxycodone to anyone that would ask for it and prescribing insane amounts. The younger people eventually figured this out and started abusing them too. Tons of folks ended up on what was basically big pharma heroin in the span of a decade.
Benzos seemed to really take off around that time as well. Then there are those that were on anti-depressants, anti-psychotics, and whatever else the doctor could throw at them. It seemed like there was a pill for everything...and ads started showing up for them on TV and haven't let up since.
Now there are a huge population of people that are either dependent, addicted, or prone to relapse when it comes to these substances. If they aren't getting it from a doctor they get it off the street. End result is a nation of drug addicts.
If you go back through the times you see that while drug use was always a constant there seems to be spikes where more of the general population will become addicted. Opium is almost always in there, but cocaine pops up too.
I know I'm rambling. I wanted to get some opinions on the following questions:
>Do you think the greater population is encouraged to take certain substances by their Governments?
> How safe are these "research chemicals" and could their recent explosion on the market be intentional?
> Why is medicine allowed to be patented and why can't I grow my own?
I kind of know the answer to this already I think but I pose the question just to hear your thoughts on the subject.
My great-grandmother grew her own medicine, curing most simple things with herbs and good old farm raised opium. I feel one should be allowed to grow and harvest a small amount of opium, it should be as common as growing tomatoes in your own garden.
The only reason I see it not begin against the law is so one must turn to big pharma for the product, and one must either pay taxes or out of pocket for health services.
> What is your opinion on drug use within society? How would you control it?
Thank y'all for your time.

Cultural Marxism information?
I have put off learning about cultural marxism and things like it for far too long. I am watching a documentary on it, but I understand documentaries are very rarely good for detailed information.
If anyone knows of any good doumentaties, and books for things like this please point me in the correct direction. I also recall seeing it being big in a part of jews from Russia versus other jews.
I posted on /pol/ but feel I can get better information here because it seems as its right down this sections alley.
Cultural marxism from what I've seen so far seems just like the video of Yuri Bezmenov. That may be why I'm thinking I saw something related to jews.
When I study things I like to learn it down the the root, which is why I want more than just this documentary. Please point me in the right direction, thank you

So since this might be the only board on 8chan that isn't full of spamers, sjws and kiddies and where we can actually have a serious talk I think it worth analyzing this
Why did gamergate fail?
>inb4 it didn't fail you shill/cuck/whatever
Nah it failed, I was really invested on it since august '14 and nothing happened, no public apologies, no companies defending gamers, no sjws getting fired. That idiot anita is still there, still making money off disinformation, the documentary was a joke, the basedgamers another joke, MSM its still milking the harassment crap, nobody has been openly exposed and shamed for that they are.
I think we should really research this given that the failure of GG might signal the death of internet activism. Right now the only activism that works its corporate/government-sanctioned slacktivism which does nothing but reinforce the powers that are already in place
In a way the current state of the internet is a lot like the Brezhnev stagnation period of the USSR: lots of political debate and mumbo jumbo from intellectuals against WMDs and the like while at the same time political repression was going up (compared to Kruschev's time) and the military was building more and more WMDs, completely contradicting their own message. That's because the message came straight from the kremlim, the average soviet citizen was more concerned about the economic slump and increasing food scarcity so to take people's attention away from that the soviet elite decided to change the narrative. Of course at the end it didn't work because the USSR wasn't the richest superpower.
I think GG failed because the methods used where from a decade ago when corporations and governments failed to suppress our actions because it was something they had never encountered before but now they have finally managed to control the situation because they have developed techniques (massive spam attacks by paid employees) and technologies (spyware, botnets) which combined with a MSM thats more dependent than ever from corporate welfare (ads, sponsored content) and a public numb with the noice of irrelevant information makes methods we used only a few years ago effectively obsolete.
Think about it: facebook and twitter openly sell likes and feature posts with money, you can literally have *the* most unpopular opinion in the world and still get it the front of line if you pay these companies enough.
Unconscious symbols
I want to have a thread about hidden symbols in images. There are two types of symbols that could be put in an image. Secret symbols, like those in freemasonry. To understand their meaning you have to read up on them. Or symbols that have no secret meaning, but are there simply because they speak to us at a subconscious level. Whether you've heard of them or not, they affect you. This thread will be about the latter kind.
This first image is from another thread here and I think it is simply wonderful. The (not so) hidden symbol is of course the eye you see in the shadow of the lamp. Eyes have been found to be powerful symbols[1][2]. Yet it is still somewhat deniable, in that the symbol is formed by the shadow, and shadows are usually not the main point of an image, literally taking on a background role compared to the actual objects. In this case the objects would be the lamp, the guitar and the small table. The second image doesn't contain a symbol but rather is visually ambiguous as a whole on first glance.
That is the end of my knowledge and I would like to ask if /32/ knows anything more? To what extent can hidden symbols be used to manipulate? And is it commonly done?

The Banality of Mind Control
http://anolen.com/2014/11/16/the-banality-of-mind-control/
"What if all those MK ULTRA files that Helms burned were about shuffling the boards of media companies; or working with the Department of Education; or buying recording studios; or employing advertizing consultants? What if MK ULTRA was about the CIA turning itself into the best-organized political lobby ever?
Zimbardo and Andersen’s paper was first published in Cultic Studies Journal, 1984, Volume 1, Number 2. Philip Zimbardo himself was one of the National Academy of Science’s personal sources for their biography of Carl Hovland (Zimbardo was a student of Hovland’s before taking a professorship at Stanford in 1968); Zimbardo was also president of the American Psycological Association, an organization which gets a lot of (bad) play in the MK ULTRA saga. (The APA is currently involved in an ongoing CIA-torture scandal.)
On Resisting Social Influence is an abridged version of a report Zimbardo and Andersen did for the Office of Naval Research, a US military/private industry collaborative organization . (The Office of Naval Research funded Zimbardo’s famous– and creepy– ‘Prison Experiment‘ in 1971, shortly after he got his first professorship. It seems Zimbardo was well connected with the military from day one.)
I’m not saying Philip Zimbardo is necessarily a CIA asset himself, but he learned and worked in their milieu, so I think it would be prudent to carefully consider Zimbardo’s observations on ‘mind control':
Formidable quests to gain control over the human mind have often employed exotic technology. Exquisite torture devices, electroshock therapy, mind altering drugs, hypnosis, and sensory deprivation have all been used to get targeted persons to do the bidding of various agents and agencies of control. Indeed, these methods carry enough wallop to distort and sometimes destroy the mind’s normal functioning. But they are not adequate for the task of reliably directing behavior through specific scenarios as designated by would-be manipulators.
John Marks’ expose of the CIA’s secret mind control program (see The Search for the “Manchurian Candidate”) suggests that no foolproof way of “brainwashing” another person has ever been found. After a decade of intensive, costly research into the technology of such control, the CIA’s MKULTRA program was deemed a failure. Covert operations could claim little more than being capable of turning unsuspecting victims into “vegetables.”
Effective mind control exists in most mundane aspects of human existence: the inner pressures to be bonded to other people, the power of group norms to influence behavior, the force of social rewards (such as smiles, praise, a gentle touch). We influence one another, intentionally or unintentionally, using the most basic principles of social psychology, motivation, and social learning. It is people in convincing social situations and not gadgets or gimmicks that control the minds of other people. The more worried we are about being seen as ignorant, uncultured, untalented or boring, and the more ambiguous the events are that are to be evaluated, the more likely we are to take on the beliefs of those around us in order to avoid being rejected by them.
What Zimbardo appears to be saying is that social pressures like ‘political correctness’ are a form of mind control. Could it be that the CIA found obscure strands of Mexican hallucenogenic mushrooms but missed age-old knowledge of crowd psychology? I think not.
I do think that Zimbardo is in an excellent position to give us some insight into what the destroyed MK ULTRA documents might have contained. In this post I’m going to summarize Zimbardo and Andresen’s paper and offer some suggestions– not proof, but suggestions– on how these manipulative practices might be used now."
Moderate and Extremist
Does a moderate movement benefit from existence of extremists?
On the one hand, they can be taken for extremists and be considered guilty by association.
On the other hand they can seem very reasonable when contrasted with the extremists (overton window).
Is the net effect good or bad? Or does it depend on the situation?
Yuri Bezmenov
This video should be required watching for anyone on /32/. A concise and articulate (and humorous) overview of the methods of political subversion from a Soviet defector.
His thesis is that ideological subversion of a culture happens in four stages: demoralization, crisis, normalization and destabilization, after a which a foreign power will assume power via civil war or invasion. He states that this process is legitimate and open and happens in the full view of the public, if one cares to notice it.
He emphasis that the entire process can be thwarted as the first stage if the people have sufficient strength of spirit and moral character to resist the initial demoralization and destruction of their identity.

Politics and migration in Europe
What is fueling the current support for almost unrestricted immigration to Europe?
Personally I'm suspecting a series of factors but I would like to hear other opinions as well.
First I think we're looking at one huge case of "keeping with the joneses" particularly in the upper european classes that seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to outclass the other in terms of progressiveness. You see, because in the current social climate being "progressive" grants the same benefits than say being "pious" in the victorian age or being "vanguardist" in the early soviet union, you have all these people trying to be as superficially progressive as possible in order to increase their social visibility. As such they don't think of the consequences because all that matters is that they don't look "conservative" to others.
There's been an attempt at an economic justification in the form of these migrants becoming cheap labor. This is absurd since if that were the case then france should be the most competitive most successful nation in europe considering the massive amount of migrants living just outside of paris (the banlieues) and yet that country's economy has been sagging for years. There have been several warnings from african and arab leaders that the current wave of immigrants are the lowest strata of their society with a heavy criminal element and almost no education. To expect they will become honest hardworking citizens its a big stretch no matter how you look at it.
Also there seems to be a classic case of a political power vacuum: because euro leaders couldn't find a way out of the current crisis they are resorting to anything to win political approval and thus votes. Of course one has to wonder what they expect from this given that the backlash of such asylum policies is already been seen as negative by nearly all even outside of europe.
Lastly I think its the current situation has a lot in common with the cuban migration crisis of the 1980s which also had a heavy political element given than the united states was trying to undermine communism as much as they could while the cuban lobby pressured for those migrants to be given asylum almost automatically. However unlike the wave after the revolution the one in the 1980s had little to do with political prisoners and more about cuba just getting rid of bad elements, mainly criminal ones. The castros famously said they had flushed the toilets of havana in miami, and to that followed nearly a decade characterized for high crime rates, grizzly murders and mobsters running anything from drugs, prostitutes and money laundering all over south florida.
Difference is the one from cuba were 125,000 (of which only a fraction stayed in miami) while the current one in europe could easily get to a million or more

>One of the best books that cracks the code on what we are living through was written by Dutch psychiatrist Joost A. M. Meerloo about 60 years ago. Mull over the first line of his book’s forward, and you will think he is writing about today: “This book attempts to depict the strange transformation of the free human mind into an automatically responding machine – a transformation which can be brought about by some of the cultural undercurrents in our present-day society as well as by deliberate experiments in the service of a political ideology.”
When it comes to understanding the inner workings of social psychology and political correctness, we seem to be at a loss.
>That’s from “The Rape of the Mind: The Psychology of Thought Control, Menticide, and Brainwashing” (1956).
Funny how Meerloo warned of the group's efforts, more or less.
Please post everything you know about the Macy Conferences and any speculations. What was done with the research? Who is continuing this line of research now?
Fundamental Psychopolitical Problems
The fundamental problem of economics is scarcity, that is: there is a finite amount of resources that are available to satisfy an infinite amount of human needs and wants. All economic theories, systems and projections take this problem into account, and seek to manage it as best they can. Perhaps we can find something similar for psychopolitics.
Government statements and information releases are all carefully planned to give it the right spin, from the way they are worded to the moment they are published. There are also obvious limitations to the information they are willing to make public, and even outright fabrications.
Journalism is not necessarily better. Although journalists believe that they are impartial, the companies only survive because of advertising or paid subscription, both of which are based on audience. This causes them to consider what kind of story and delivery generates the most interest. Since time and other resources are limited, this means that stories considered unimportant are not covered, and whoever determines what story is or isn't important holds power over the flow of information. Every form of organization of news has some sort of bias, a good deal of them probably not intentionally added, such as the order in which stories are presented, to the way they are worded, or the time/space dedicated to it.
Unofficial information is also not particularly trustworthy, with no concern for fact-checking or accountability. "underground" news sources are often more biased than the official ones, with their marginal and sometimes anti-status quo position being a central theme in all of their reporting. Rumors and anecdotes coming from individuals who don't see themselves as sources of information suffer from the same shortcomings.
Even in the impossible event that an unbiased source of information was developed or discovered, there would still be the problem of language. Language is the attempt of humans to transmit data to one another, but in order to do so they must first "put into words" this data, be it feelings, perceptions, thoughts or observations. The words used, and the rules under which they are combined are but simple materials with which we represent what we are trying to transmit. In the same way that a painting will never be a perfect representation of a landscape, the words will always fall short of that which they mean. This is not to say that our communication suffers greatly because of this on a daily basis: in the same way that humans developed screens that blink series of images at a very high frequency in order to simulate movement, language has evolved into a somewhat effective means of transmitting simple information. The real problem arises when complex descriptions must be passed on, or when one tries to explain an abstract concept. The latter is crucial, as abstract concepts (such as political theories and philosophical notions) are some of the most important pieces of information for the survival and development of human civilization. It would not be wrong to say that the ability to conjure abstract ideas and transmit them is one of the main factors that differentiates us from animals, capable of using language only to describe their surroundings or feelings.

>Last week, some Internet magazine published the latest attempt at the genre of Did You Know Neoreaction Exists You Should Be Outraged. A couple of reactionaries wrote the usual boring “actually, nothing you said was true, why would you say false things?” responses. Nydwracu, a frequent commenter on this blog, did something I thought was much more interesting. He wrote a post called Fnords where he removed all of the filler words and transitions between ideas and thin veneer of argument until he stripped the essay down to the bare essentials.
This is a fascinating concept I'd love to see applied in a more objective/methodical manner.
Anonymity and Collectivism
Maybe anonymity makes people more collectivist because you can't be distinguished from anybody else.
I'm going to recall an experience I had on 8chan but bear in mind that I can't remember exactly:
>There was a thread on /pol/ by a person coming from Reddit where OP says about how he doesn't like the lack of karma and identity on anonymous forums because he can't gauge the popularity of his comment and opinions.
>Two anons replied saying that anonymity means being part of a collective and losing your individuality.
National Socialism and Communism are ideologies that are common on 8chan and they are collectivist I think, Libertarians aside.
I also found a thread that I think might be of interest: >>>/4chonr9k/1729

Let's talk about what to do about the pedowood question.
Here's the situation: secret societies use pedophilia to induce compliance among the "elites ". See Franklin cover up, Dennis Hastert, /pedowood322/
So smart guys. How do you educate people about this without sounding crazy? It's vital to spread the word, to make normal well adjusted people realize that their children could be the victims of these people.
Nationalism and Its Effects on Peace in Europe
With global crisis, unemployment, dissatisfaction, poverty and intolerance has increased and with it also nationalism. Political parties with nationalist platforms are rising and gaining more support around the world and Europe is no exception.
In Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom and across Europe we can see the rise of the right. The financial crisis in the Eurozone and beyond has triggered rising of nationalists and far-right political parties.
The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) on 9th of July released a report about the dramatic increase in anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, online hate speech and xenophobic political discourse as the main trends in 2014.
Nationalism can be positive with legitimacy, promotion of nations and inspiration for citizens or negative by creating tensions between different ethnicity and groups in or outside the country. Some negative aspects of ideology or political movement can be seen in the latest football matches in the Balkans, where supporters of team groups have burned many national flags and hooliganism that is the result of long lasting hatred and nationalism on the ground. Every country has its own history and different positions, but stilI similarities could be found.
The country all news is regarding to in recent times is Greece. A known slogan “Greece for Greeks” is well known in its anti-austerity party. Attacks against minorities and immigrants with racism are seen in one of the European Union (EU) members. Golden Dawn neo-Nazi party is linked to hundreds of violent attacks against minorities.
It is known for anti-immigration, racist-nationalist worldview. With elections being held this year in January the party captured 6.3% of the vote and 17 senate seats in Hellenic parliament and become the country’s third largest party. In 2014 the party won 9.4% of votes in European parliamentary election and with it 3 seats out of 21.
The party has been put on a trial this year for its criminal activity.
Nationalism in Greece has divided citizens and noncitizens to us and them and created the gap between both. With the economic crisis, Greeks debt, overall economic meltdown, unemployment and increasing number of refugees from different countries, the party led by Nikos Michaloliakos has gained more support and caused even greater intolerance to foreign people in need. Unfortunately, they are not the only one spreading intolerance. Many politicians have a stance against immigrants, which shapes the Greeks’ attitude towards nationalism.
Words and expressions.
We all know about the continuous effort to distort the meaning of most fundamental words like love, hate, male, female, freedom, power, etc. But what about other word related games played by the so called elite? Have you ever stumbled upon words that seem to be connected by some kind of a pattern? What about expressions? Some of them may have different meanings than what is commonly understood among the general public.Hypersexualization of children
I think we are all aware of the current movement to activate children's sexuality at a very early age. Clearly this has psychological ramifications to all parties involved.
Sickening Fibras Increase memetic energies?
Resistance training to maintain and improve lean body mass has the most benefits
Cardiovascular health benefits best from weight training; more than endurance cardiovscular
>They found that men with high grip strength had a decreased risk of mortality; 23 percent lower for every 1 standard deviation (15 kg) increase in grip strength.
>Women with higher grip strength had a 19 percent decreased risk of mortality for every 1 standard deviation (10 kg) increase in grip strength.
>Researchers used to think that overweight elderly people had a higher risk of dying, but recent studies have shown that both overweight and underweight elderly people are more likely to die. More and more epidemiologists are therefore coming to the conclusion that it’s not bodyweight that determines how long you are likely to live, but lean body mass.
>We have shown that using typical resistance machines—three days a week at a moderate intensity (65 percent of your 10-repetition maximum) for three sets and 10 repetitions can lead to heart benefits," says Collier. He also adds that one should complete reps at a slow rate to get the most effective workout from the equipment.
Does having a high level of fitness increase our capacity for memetic warfare?
Christianity
Interesting that this is the only religion overly criminalized. I mean; aren't all popular beliefs made up, we just don't know.
Probably christianity was as well established for profit gains only, but the idea was blurred through years, and the concept is still, in fact the same, but no one, not even the churches know about so. The project, as I may call 'The Christianity Promulgation Project' was supposedly forsaken by everyone related. It's not only a plan of earnings, but influence and general control. Who doesn't control the society as much as Christians? Burning a Christian bible will cause a worldwide outrage, the opponent will be penalized. You can't stand up Christians today, most people will stand up against you, even if they pray rarely. They are Christians on principle.
Just Wars
It is apparent that most current wars are not motivated by the improvement or protection of the life of the people, but by commercial interests. The companies responsible for developing military equipment, supporting military operations and rebuilding invaded countries have influence orders of magnitude above that of the people who are supposed to be represented by the state. This influence can be in the form of simple financial rewards or in deals involving influence and power.
Is it possible to educate the population at large about the commercial aspect of war, or is the patriotic conditioning too strong in most people? If so, how?
Is the increase in the use of private military contractors an indicator of these hidden interests, or is it a natural and logical development in warfare?
Is the targeting of young, low-income, poorly educated men by the recruiting apparatus morally reprehensible, or are they merely offering another option to a demographic that has few of them?

Short Messages
Our limited capacity to recall information consciously frequently causes long messages to be erroneously recollected, and therefore transmitted. This can be dealt with by condensing one's thoughts into short messages with impact, such as aphorisms and slogans. Not only does this facilitate memorization, but if the individual agrees with the idea being transmitted and likes the way it is depicted in the message, the message itself is more likely to be repeated and consequently memorized by more individuals (because repetition is important for memorization). It is also noteworthy that this tactic (the use of slogans) has been used by cults and political movements all over the world.
What I suggest is that we practice this by writing short messages about psychopolitical topics, sentences or groups of sentences that can be quoted in conversations, both online and in person. We should also look for quotes by famous people regarding the topic, and critique each other's messages.
Here are my attempts:
The most difficult and important part of learning is opening yourself to the possibility that what you know is wrong.
Naturally this does not apply to everyone. While study is meaningless if one is unwilling to accept that one's current knowledge is either insufficient or wrong (making the "important" part true), it can be more difficult to have access to some information than to accept it. Still, this was written with a particular demographic in mind: people interested in politics and science who have access to the internet, meaning that the access to a certain piece of information is unlikely to be the hardest part of learning. The use of "most" adds impact to the phrase, and the use of "you" instead of "one" makes it more personal.
Oversimplification is one of the most widely used and effective manipulation tactics.
The use of the word "manipulation" instead of "rhetoric" or something to that effect makes the message more dramatic and memorable. "most widely used and effective" also serves to cause the reader to look for examples around him, either to prove or disprove this, but either way paying more attention to his information environment. There is also a chance that the irony of oversimplifying such a statement can be perceived consciously and generate further discussion.
If you don't control your mind, someone else will. -John Allston
Here the author makes a warning, which is intended to draw alarm and inspire a change in behavior. Once again the use of "you" instead of "one" makes the message more personal, while the choice of the vague "someone" instead of a more specific and malignant agent allows the reader to insert his perceived threat/enemy in that role.

Cultural Divisions in modern America
America is not a single country. America is an empire that contains many increasingly divided cultures.
The media/academic/corporate elite are increasing insular, and largely live in enclaves within whatever cultural region they inhabit.
Do you think there's any way to mend the cultural gap or is secession inevitable?
Is there a similar phenomena in other nations any non-American /32/ers could inform us about?
Any non-obvious examples of how these divides lead to media/policy bias?

UFOs
Y'all would be very interested in UFOs. I recently have had a renewed interest in the subject. I am discovering that, despite what I have always assumed, there are actually many, many reputable eyewitness accounts.
Studying UFOs has allowed me a new perspective on psychopolitics, let me explain.
Read the eyewitness accounts or at least read documents that accurately summarize such accounts, and then read wikipedia, or watch a mainstream video on UFOs.
Here are some things you will notice:
They allow a lot of kooks to dominate the discussion, thereby discrediting any discussion of UFOs (think ancient aliens and youtube hoax videos).
Most mainstream media carefully frame events so as to make it appear that the official, non-ET explanation is the overwhelmingly likely hypothesis. Wikipedia is a good example of this. They do cover both sides but the subtle manipulations are there.
When I think of almost every movie that deals with "first contact," I .always find something that is directly based on an actual reported event. Battle LA was based on a reputed UFO shelling over LA, The Fifth Element has a scene in which an alien paralyzes a human at first contact by "glaring" (flashing eyes) at him (which occurred at the Voronezh UFO incident), and of course the flying saucers and little green men all over the media, which are actually the most reported types of UFOs and UFO occupants (although the occupants are actually quite diverse). Close Encounters of the Third Kind is also consistent with its treatment of UFOs IIRC. Stargate SG 1 involves US reverse engineering of alien technology and other events that some UFOlogists believe are actually happening. Obviously they might be trying to be realistic, but there might also be a motive of hiding the reality by associating it with fantasy.
I'm just beginning to read into some reports, but already I'm learning some crazy stuff that the general public does not know, even though most of it is available in your public library stacks, which is where I get most of my information. (The general public is so conditioned to not believe in UFOs or ETs that they aren't really curious.) For instance, people have been reportedly killed by UFOs. One was a pilot who intercepted a UFO, and also at least one person who was hit by a UFO's ray (UFO's rays reputedly often paralyze the victims harmlessly but sometimes produce aftereffects). There is even a document on the NSA's website which is a report saying that the UFO phenomenon is likely extraterrestrial in nature, or a mass hallucination so powerful and persistent that it requires dedicated study in its own right. Basically a previously unheard-of form of psychosis is happening in wide ranges of reputable people, or we are being visited by extraterrestrials. Google NSA UFO Survival Hypothesis.
Here is another thought experiment which I think helps convince one that multiple alien civilizations are probably visiting Earth. You've probably heard of the Drake equation. Any intelligent person should be able to understand that in our universe, if not our galaxy, there are other intelligent civilizations. There are just too many stars for the same conditions on Earth to not arise elsewhere. So then you could add another variable to the drake equation, which is the probability of interstellar or intergalactic travel. 0 would be interstellar travel is impossible, 1 would be intergalactic, fast travel is possible. If any range of travel is possible, even 0.01 then aliens are probably visiting Earth, as it is in the nature of intelligent beings to explore. Now we can certainly envision slower than light travel, and if an alien civilization is old enough, it could have sent ships to this star system early enough for them to have a base here (one estimate pegged a trip to Alpha Centauri at 100 years). So, even within the current range of conceivable technology, alien civilizations are likely to be here. As the range and speed possible increases, so does the probability of alien contact. I personally believe that it is a given that at least one civilization will in the future visit our solar system. Whether they have already or are currently is about 90%. It's like a disease contagion, you know it's there it just a matter of probability if it will strike.
Another thing I have learned about human psychology, and this is actually related to /32/ unlike the previous paragraph, is that the cover up and denial of ETs is totally predictably human. When I was younger and more "blue pill" I would not have believed that UFOs would really be so prevalent and the government and media would hush it up, but given the increased understanding of propaganda and persuasion I now have, I now understand how it could happen. When you learn how socially programmed humans are and how we readily discount evidence, it makes sense.
More Rapes in Britain
Story for those who haven't read it yet
Alright I'm so done with this, I'm completely done with doing the bare minimum. It feels like the world grows more insane every day as these events are allowed to take place.
I'm aware there are groups that spawned out of /pol/ as early as 2012 to do psy-ops of their own but they're secretive and on their own way.
What is the best method to break this fearful mentality that seems to grip white people? It seems that simply reporting things is not enough, especially since it is being surpressed.
there has to be a better method that turns people faster, I want to learn whatever I can. Throughout the years I've already convinced family and friends, and some aquaintences but its not enough.
I apologize if my post seems a bit dischorded, I'm extremely angry after reading this.
I understand this isn't 100% best place to ask this
Unfortunately I only browse this board and pol, so I feel the question is better asked here. I have been watching documentaries or speeches that speak of symbols and signs. The semiotic thread got me interested in signs and I have been watching a few jordan maxwell videos. He studies way back and finds certain signs have been used again and again. I don't know if there is any set thing to study but I am hoping maybe I can find some path from here even though its a huge longshot.
Is there any study of signs throughout time with meanings throughout time?
/intl/: An example of the ease of mass manipulation
I'm not sure how aware all of you are about the current shitstorm 8chan is undergoing - I don't really expect most people to give a shit about imageboard drama - but I think it's something really relevant that's worthy of examination. If you're unaware, here's a brief summary of the situation:
Back in December/January, /int/ was basically undergoing a period of quality posting, both in developing a board culture and having light discussions. By February, this began to change, mostly because the board owner (who was friends with and given control of /int/ by Hotwheels) started to purposefully run the board into the ground. Hotwheels himself also played a large part in turning the board into a shitshow. Eventually we got fed up with it, and about a month ago most of us migrated over to /intl/, with a new hotwheels-free owner. We've spent the last month trying to recover the board culture we'd lost, and just as things were starting to get better, the current bullshit started. As you probably know, Reddit mods started banning several subreddits, which caused many redditors to migrate here. The most significant was the 'fatpeoplehate' community, which quickly became one of the largest boards on 8chan. At this point, dozens of 8chan regulars started to spam the board, which caused others, Hotwheels included, to become angry that this 'new migration' was being stunted and so many new users were being lost (because the 2nd exodus was such a boon to us, right?). Hotwheels took advantage of that anger and basically accused /intl/ users of doing all of the raiding. This was blatantly untrue (there were maybe 2 or 3 /intl/ users tops, and certainly no organized raiding), as well as unprovable. However, most of this site's users really knew nothing about /intl/, and assumed it was just a shitposting board, and believed Hotwheel's bullshit (Something similar has happened in the past as well - back when we still used /int/, /pol/ somehow became convinced that all the users were a bunch of Something Awful users who had come to ruin 8chan.). Hotwheels then encouraged everyone to go shit up /intl/ (just look at /b/, there's still a raid sticky up right now), and now he's made the board owner resign and be replaced with another of his IRC circlejerk friends.
Overall, I think this whole affair is a perfect example of just how easy a ruler can take advantage of uneducated masses for his own personal benefit. /intl/ wasn't the first board Hotwheels took over in this manner, either - he did the same thing to /sp/ as well. This site is very rapidly going the way 4chan did, and I'm not sure how much longer it'll last.

To the Point of Absurdity
Recently, I have established a minor subversive element within a particular socio-political movement. Essentially, I have created a product/brand, have begun to establish networks within the target audience, and hope to eventually make a decent cash flow from the product via the target audience. It has come at no cost to me, using entirely free sites such as Society6, Twitter, and Tumblr. The product is a series of shirts with slogans and associated artwork. Here's a fun thread
Take a very long-winded, unappealing document and memify it in a way that will make it more accessible/interesting and thus more likely to be read. This falls under "Study memes, from their creation to their final effect. Possible experiment with meme creation,".

Dark Patterns
Here's an interesting site I stumbled across:
>A Dark Pattern is a user interface that has been carefully crafted to trick users into doing things, such as buying insurance with their purchase or signing up for recurring bills.
>Normally when you think of “bad design”, you think of the creator as being sloppy or lazy but with no ill intent. This type of bad design is known as a “UI anti-pattern”. Dark Patterns are different – they are not mistakes, they are carefully crafted with a solid understanding of human psychology, and they do not have the user’s interests in mind. We as designers, founders, UX & UI professionals and creators need to take a stance against Dark Patterns.
Anon's Guide to Politics
Absolute guide to understanding politics
This guide will set you up so that you can by yourself learn more about politics.
Theology>Philosophy>Politics
This is the basic triarchial process. Any dogma or anti-dogma becomes rationalized philosophy, which then is applied into culture and then politics. Politics are applied philosophy. Philosophy is rationalized theology. Not all theology is converted into philosophy, just as not all philosophy is converted into politics. But they sure are each other's foundations.
Now there are some demarcations you can follow. There are two basic clasifications which, confusingly enough, run parallel. One clasification is horizontallity (theology, philosophy, politics) and the other classification is vertical (metaphysics, antimetaphysis and ametaphysics).
First, it all starts with theology. Theology is how man interprets its being and self and its relation with what is outside himself. There are two basic metaphysic "schools": traditional trascendentalism, and gnosticism.
Traditional trascendentalism is zoroastrianism, traditional catholicism/orthodoxy, and shi'a muslims. They believe that as there is a creation, there must be a creator god. You are saved by a combination of faith and good deeds.
The other theological school is gnosticism, which has the widest array of theological and spiritual beliefs. Hinduism, Egyptian/Baal/babilonic sun worship, Wahabi islam, New Age, Judaism, Freemasonry, Illuminism, Neopaganism and a myriad of different modern cults/sects.
The key difference between both is that gnosticism believes salvation does not come from god, but from mankind itself. In gnosticism the supreme being (person) is antagonized by the demiurge (god) which must both fight each other. God wants to submit Man, and Man must fight God to obtain their freedom, to uncover what they knew as GNOSIS, the ultimate form of knowledge which could make Man no longer need God, because they would be a sort of god themselves with the help of supreme knowledge.
But not everything is theological and suprarrational, and while the ancient religions and the mysticism in new age stuff assumes there are things above rationality (suprarrationality) and the existence of a god or deities, there is a non-theological approach which is antimetaphysics. Antimetaphyiscs are rational, and do not believe in things outside science or rationality. It is modernism. It is centered on mankind, science and its material woes. They reject the study of the outside, but rather focus on the inside and rationality of man as a sentient being. The core of a modernists is agnosticism: they follow the basic premise of gnosticism that mankind saves itself, but it rationalizes it and removes the mystical aspects as it feels only rational knowledge can save mankind and everything outside rationality is fake.
Then finally, in rejection of anti-metaphyiscs and modernism there lies the fairly new field of AMETAPHYSICS: the rejection of all grand myths and beliefs. An antimetaphysic is postmodern. This school rejects both the metaphyiscal suprrationality of things beyond mens understanding and also rejects antimetaphysical rational explanations of the universe. Instead they believe in non-understanding of the universe, that truth lies in the eye of the beholder, and that any establishment of a universal truth or relation with one's inner self and the outside world is a one-sided imposition of thought. Therefore, a postmodern believes that every persona has its own version of reality, "everyone is right at the same time" which must not be interfered by outside influences, because it will deny the liberty of man. So it is irrational in itself.
Finally, I will list the diferent subdivisions of anti-metaphyisical thought so you can make your own reaseach. Note that Gnosticism is sincretic, so that sometimes it seems to be directly related with some antimetaphiysical rationalist doctrines, only to finally show its internal incoherence with the movement it seeks to parasite. A great example is freemasonry, seems rational but is not.

d) Theory of Cultural Decline
Fenomenology
Existentialism
Estructuralism
and finally:
Deconstructionism (which leads directly to avoiding antimetaphyisics all together and becoming ametaphyisics)
Therefore, when you see colliding narratives in the media remember the masses are widely anti-metaphyisical and rationality oriented, the elites are mostly gnostics in hiding and metaphyiscal suprarrational mysticalfags, and the new left is ametaphyisical and irrational. So irrationality is pushed into the rational mases while the elites hide away in their suparrational beliefs.
My 2 cents.
Vulnerability to Coercion & Manipulation
On this thread, let us speculate on what makes an individual more or less vulnerable to coercion and manipulation.
Captology
>Captology is the study of computers as persuasive technologies. This includes the design, research, and analysis of interactive computing products (computers, mobile phones, websites, wireless technologies, mobile applications, video games, etc.) created for the purpose of changing people’s attitudes or behaviors. BJ Fogg derived the term captology in 1996 from an acronym: Computers As Persuasive Technologies = CAPT.
Advertising and Morality
Is advertising intrinsically immoral?
By "advertising" I mean presenting a product (or idea) in a simplified way that places it in a positive light, in the hope of generating interest and demand.
One could point out the lies by omission (e.g. "contains natural fruit" when the fruit is less than 1% of the total), the appeals to subliminal stimuli, the association of a popular symbol with the product to make it more appealing, and so on. Depending on how you see it, the advertiser often insults the target by being condescending, in the sense that they expect the audience to buy something not because of its merits but because there are attractive people smiling while using it.
Can we qualify these tactics as "fair game"?
Should manufacturers be restricted to showcasing the characteristics of the products and services in the most impartial way possible?
What about advertising that targets children specifically, is that a greater offense or a savvier tactic?
Humanities and Social Sciences
Hello, I created an Humanities and Social Sciences board. I will upload books, articles and historic material for anyone that's interested in the historic discipline. If you want to share more material and discuss different subjects, you're invited and encouraged to do it. This is a very interesting board, so any kind of external perspective would be very welcomed.
Also if talking about other boards is forbidden because you don't want people spamming, I'm really sorry and I'll delete the thread.
META "How to legalize anything"
I found this text about the Overton Window but it is in Spanish. It is a step-by-step example of how to legalize cannibalism. It would be wonderful if we could get it translated to english for easier understanding and to post it eventually in other sites.
how do you make a foundation for your self?
I wish I knew how to think for myself. I've heard people promoting the trivium and the quadrivium, but where does self-regulation of physical and mental processes come into that?Thoughts on the term "SJW"
I've noticed this label explode in popularity over the last few years. Prior to that everyone was happy to complain about "liberals," when suddenly we were complaining about "SJWs" overnight. Even the Reddit userbase seems to be in favor of the term.
Personally, I don't like it for several reasons:
1) It's inapt. SJWs don't want social justice, and it's ridiculous to call them warriors. Even if it's meant ironically, it still poses a problem because...
2) It's meaningless to the vast population of normal people who aren't intimately familiar with Internet slang. You can tell your computer illiterate Boomer parents or redneck coworkers about "limousine liberals," "hipsters," or "radical leftists" and they'll have a decent idea what sort of person you mean, whereas if you talk about "social justice warriors," they might think you're referring to Catholic aid workers or something.
3) It's a clunky acronym that doesn't roll off the tongue very well.
Despite this, it seems like the Internet is captivated with these three letters. It's becoming the de facto label for cultural Marxists. What is it about the term that's so appealing? Does anyone know where and when it was coined?
Control and conditioning
Greetings /32/, I have some thoughts I'd like to share with you today.
This is going to be a lot of text so bear with me.
I've come to understand the system of control the elite use on us, and I'd like to share with you my pondering and observations.
The current system of control is near flawless, using suggestion of single ideas and stimuli, that when met with other ideas form a calculated behavior and outcome.
Ever wonder why the majority of western young women seem to be all borderline personality disorder?
Well they all share something in common, see almost all were exposed to Disney movies at a young age, and of course federal schooling programs.
Very simple things that on their own seem totally normal, but combined create something nasty.
These films generally pitch to young girls that they are special princesses by virtue of existence, and should not only be treated as such, but are also strong, unique, and many other nice things.
This has the effect of making a brat out of a little girl, especially when mixed with increasingly consumerist holidays like Christmas.
I've seen it countless times were a normal responsible family produces a little girl who acts like a spoiled deva, with the only outside sources being childrens movies and shows, the most common of which being Disney.
Even with crappy boomer parents the result is extreme.
I'm not 100% sure what exists in all of these films to specifically produce the bratty behavior, but if I had to guess it's probably something subliminal that women are more likely to pick up on.
So, you get an egotistical bratty little girl who thinks a proper relationship is one of being waited on hand and foot, and that she is also special and smart by virtue of being her.
Circular logic that preys on womens thought processes.
These ideas by the way, are now in pretty much in all entertainment showing family and relationship dynamics.
Stupid man, perfect woman.
So, take a young girl with those ideas in her head, and toss her into a federal schooling program in whatever western country.
America, Canada, Australia ect.
Well something I can guess most of you recall from school, is an abundance of female teachers, semi crowded classes, standardized teaching, and girls excelling at the ciriculum, even if most were not as bright as a lot of the boys.
Pretty common story with millenials.
So this school environment by default is shit for boys, who need much more flexibility and adaptable learning like the classic student/master setup that groups like the jesuits used to teach.
So boys act up, do bad, and the girls excell at filling in the dotted lines.
This then reinforces her belifs of not just being special, and her views on boys, but also makes her get used to female reinforcement in her behaviour with such a high amount of female teachers.
So after that conditioning, by the time she reaches higher education she'll have a very nice swell ego.
Remember western girls also get the most grants, scholarships, and other opportunities.
Can you image, after all this ego training, the abosulte panic she gets when exposed to rowdy boys?
Most boys having been raised by rap music, video games, negected in divorce, many of them latch key kids, and also being ostracised by the school system.
And remember all those female teachers, boys by default will have a chip towards women, and act disrespectful.
After all they got no mutual respect or disciple training in school, which is critical for young men to function in society.
Most boys as a result also have stunted emotional devlopment from all the distracting toys, shows, music and games and porn they were left with.
So when boy meets girl it tends to go bad.
Guys act rude and vulgar, and just plain antisocial and beta.
Then you also have another problem, girls growing up were taught that men would appreciate them by default.
It was never stressed that, mainting your looks, learning home skills, being virtuos, and other things are needed to keep a man loyal and invested.
So the only thing they have is their sex value, which they were taught in their pre teens and teens from maintream music, magazines and hollywood movies.
It is also worth near nothing since boys have had an abundance of porn and sexualized media available since their pre teens.
With boys having already having developed large sexual appetities, this leads to girls having to do many out there sexual practicies to keep a guy invested.
Instead of a guy having to work for a hand hold or kiss, or a romantic outing, guys have to now work at getting her to also do anal.

As another anon has suggested here, I am posting this thread to discuss and define a commonly used word. The word for this thread is "right" as in "human rights", "civil rights", "right to bear arms".
follow the white rabbit
Usually, there are statements hidden in plain sight. Watch this three-minute scene from pop culture classic "The Matrix" before we go into detail.
All right. Did you see it? Let's move on then..
Morpheus is the god of dreams, of metamorphosis, and therefore capable of imitating any human form to communicate with those who are asleep. Here the protagonist awakens, without knowing how did he fall asleep, seeking Morpheus shadow -the invisible man- that only has some random sporadic appearances in unrelated places.
The song the protagonist is listening in the scene is underground cyberpunk Dissolved Girl from Massive Attack. The part they show us is "I feel I have been here, but I am not leaving. I feel like I have done this before. I could fake being here, but no more".
But the hidden part they do not show us is "Oh, how I miss my bondage. I am thirsty of a master. You are not my saviour. A shame, a shame, I am lost again. I really should've left but I stayed. Say my name, oh say it. I only need you to placate my pain" (sorry if it is inaccurate, i dont have the exact lyrics at hand). You should recognize where that is from right away.
Wake up Neo (the one). Follow the White Rabbit (lepufology). Deep into the web, and made apparent by the hacker lair that Neo's place is.
The undesirables arrive to Neo's place. The protagonist opens a book and takes a disk, that he sells to the freaks. But, what book does he open? "Simulacra and Simulation", from the french philosopher Jean Baudrillard, and in the hollowed-out "On Nihilism" chapter no less! According to the book, simulacra are copies that picture things that have no original, or that no longer have an original. Simulation is the imitation of the operation of a process of reality about a determined period. Baudrillard claims that our current society has replaced all reality and significance with symbolism and signs, so that the human experience is no more than a simulation of reality. I could go on lenghts here, but the book is on the web.
Neo -the one, the new- hands over the discs to the freaks, and the freak leader calls him "Mi saviour, mi own Jesus christ", making the theological connection even more obvious.
Baudrillard tells us that simulacra are not reality, or not even imitation, but an anti-reality: they hide everything we relate with reality in our lives. And as society is so saturated with simulacra, our lives are saturated with the artificial constructs of society and every meaning has become insignificant because they are infinitely interchangable.
Finally, the One asks the freaks: "Have you ever had the feeling of not knowing if you are sleep or awake?"
Watch it again. We must learn to see, for we have never truly seen, only glimpse at what we are shown.

Terrorism and Media Evolution
Any discussion about terrorism must first deal with the problem of defining terrorism. Much like child pornography, most people know what it is, but have a hard time determining where it starts and where it ends. The ideological nature of terrorist actions means that one man’s terrorist is another’s “paramilitary forces”, and a vicious attack can become a demonstration of justified anger if reported by different channels. One central aspect in which most seem to agree, is that what differs terrorists from common criminals is the use of a political justification for their actions, instead of immediate personal gain (after all, if personal gain was the goal there would be no suicide bombers). A terrorist action can never be seen from a neutral perspective: it is always distorted by the political lens of the broadcaster and of the receiver.
Definitions: FREEDOM
The word “freedom” refers to a very powerful idea, as it is something that almost all people claim to want, and that all intellectuals say is fundamental for humans. It can mean so many things to so many people, and that is where the power of this term comes from: it’s vagueness."Our" Symbol
The thread about subliminal messages and hidden symbols was taking a turn towards making a symbol of our own, not for the board but for individuals who identify against the Global Elite's agenda (the term "Illuminati" is also something we should reconsider).
