I've been fooling around with PimpMyGun and made these. The first is a Glock Infinity, a Machine Pistol designed for use by individuals with cybernetic arms or powered armor. The second is a HK P5000 Negotiator, a 9mm CC pistol made almost exclusively out of synthetic plastics that make it undetectable to metal detectors. It also has a built-in stungun, making it popular with police officers. The third is a caseless rifle, with a unique loading mechanism: the handguard swings out and the magazine slides out, allowing a new one to be inserted. PimpMyGun is a really cool tool, you guys should give it a look.

Of course, this group becomes the Strogg we know from Quake II and IV, and after IV mankind begins pursuing transhuman augmentation to fight the strogg, creating an endless loop that mankind will be trapped in, bringing Quake back to its roots in cosmic horror.

However they cost an arm, a leg, and your castle besides because they required an insane amount of dedication to make when that time could be better spent on mass-producing broadswords- false flamberges made from normal greatswords became popular as a less effective but much cheaper and faster alternative.
The buster sword-sized greatsword however I will give you and I mostly just enjoy the entire concept because "god damn he must be stronk to be able to pick that up, let alone USE it". No.13671
>>13667It's less that it's based on it and more that it's named in honor of it. The original is a better gun in many ways. More durable, it can carry more ammo (though it's a pain to get it out of the storage space in the grip.) And it can be shot more times before you start to worry about the barrel's structural integrity. Granted, if you NEED to shoot either of them more than once then you're doing it wrong.
No.13679
>>13658Question: what's so impractical about it? It's supposed to fire a bullet in the general direction of where it's pointing at, right?
No.13688
>>13679Because it can only fire ONCE, and it's a breach loader that you have to remove the barrel entirely to actually reload (it just slides upward) which, should you get into a dangerous situation like having your first shot miss, could be disastrous. To reload you'd have to manage, the gun, the barrel, the spent brass (which is hot and doesn't have an ejection mechanism) and a new bullet all at once.
tl;dr if you miss, you're completely fucked.
It's only real saving grace is that it's better than not having a gun at all. Which is the point of the original Liberator too. It's for ambushing someone who has a better gun that you can take after you've shot them in the head.

Second pic is an F2000 without the bulky scope shroud on it. Looks much nicer in my opinion.
Third pic is the TP-82, it's an actual space gun. Seriously, the Russians bring it with them whenever they go to space. It's a pistol style double barrel shotgun with an under slung rifle. It comes with a stock that stores a modest amount of ammo and survival equipment.
Last pic is a Pribor 3B it's a three barrel assault rifle like out of Duke Nukem 3D.
No.13699
>>13697First pic here is a Neal SMG. It's a postol calibre minigun that straps to your arm and is fed by a helical magazine. Really cool stuff.
Second pic is of a Scramjet bullet. The idea behind it is that it accelerates after you shoot it allowing it to hit much harder than another bullet of the same size/weight. The bullet is fired from a gas gun and speeds up to Mach 7.1. It's pretty big though, about 4 inches in diameter, but I'm sure it can be miniaturized.
Third pic is a Lacroix Samouraï Urban Warfare (SUW) “High Impulse Weapon System”. A combat cyborg killer if I ever saw one. It's essentially a shoulder mounted 76mm mortar with very little recoil (still enough to knock you on your ass if you don't put 80% of your weight on your leading foot.) and makes a very satisfying CLANG when you shoot it.
Last pic is nothing fancy. Just a neat looking pistol.

Oh boy oh boy, it's my time to shine.
The thing is, I happen to design/draw weapons in my free time (and I have had a lot of free time in the past year), and a fair bit of my designs are boxy and in general, have a bit of a cyberpunk feel to them, while still retaining a certain resemblance to what we have around today (i.e. they're slightly on the realistic side).
So yeah, here are some of them! If you guys want, I can post some more.

Anyway I went back and did some touching up on the glock infinity. I also tried to recreate the handgun from Marathon, to little success. I also came up with a sub-sonic version of the p90 (yes it's based on Jan Valentine's gun from Hellsing), a gas-powered speargun, and a railgun. Some of these I'm more proud of than others.

My German's incredibly rusty, but I led him out of the basement and with the help of google translate he gave me this:
Joe Peters built 1993 PSDR 3 Bushmaster for the German SEK, a Smith and Wesson 625 45 caliber. Loading the gun through the fluegelartig (winged?) folding drum chamber, the entire frame of the revolver restricts the shot to the handle and tap. On the 3.4 kg gun sitting on the (Pistolen-ZF???) above a low-power laser as a target sight. Shot damping goes from 136 to 90 decibels, about as loud as an air pistol.
I'm very sorry for my terrible German, it's been a long time since I spoke it in any meaningful way.

"The full extent of US co-operation with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar in assisting the rebel opposition in Syria has yet to come to light. The Obama administration has never publicly admitted to its role in creating what the CIA calls a ‘rat line’, a back channel highway into Syria. The rat line, authorised in early 2012, was used to funnel weapons and ammunition from Libya via southern Turkey and across the Syrian border to the opposition"
"By the terms of the agreement, funding came from Turkey, as well as Saudi Arabia and Qatar; the CIA, with the support of MI6, was responsible for getting arms from Gaddafi’s arsenals into Syria"
>US intelligence agencies armed and supported Libya's jihadist rebels in the toppling of Gaddafi, and then helped moved Gaddafis stockpiles to the same rebel groups, now operating in Syria
