I think you're the only other windows user that I've seen who prefers to have the taskbar on top.

not a bad desktop, would rather have the windows 8 buttons but I have yet to find a theme with the same window/taskbar background color.

Thinkin about switching to devuan or nixos for my desktop, I use lubuntu currently on my laptop and it's good for it but I really want something to play around with it for at home.
