For someone that knows nothing about it, the story is a surreal adventure with comedy and drama thrown in, similar to Earthbound/Mother, while combat involves timed button presses to deal more damage like Super Mario RPG, while the game has you dodge enemy projectiles to avoid damage; if you're a habitual shmup player, you will find this game rather easy. Still, if you are fond of adventuring through a vibrant, colourful world, give it a try.

IIRC, one of the charities humblebundle likes to partner with refused money (i think it was something like $19K?) from GG just because they didn't want money from organizations the media says are hatemongers.

If they're not in your library, they should still be valid. You can find them on the invoice of whichever website you purchased them from (Steam, Amazon, etc). Invoices/receipts are usually kept somewhere on your account. Try looking around, you should find it. If you bought a physical release that just gives a steam code, then you'll have to look in the packaging.
