I know a lot of people like Asriel, but honestly? I miss that we had to trade the delightful psychopathy of Flowey for him. I just can't really connect the two characters since they're so different, even when Asriel's at his most sinister in the true ending, and so I feel like the actions of one don't fully carry over to the other.

Is this just me?

Flowey started off acting like Asriel confused about where he was but being trapped in a Groundhog Day scenario minus the happy ending made him into a psychopath but the souls helped him get back in touch with the essence of Asriel
