OC Wallpapers Anonymous 01/04/15 (Sun) 09:34:44 No. 2572
Let's see what awesome wallpapers you guys have come up with. In the mean time, I'll dump a few of mine. I mainly do low poly styled shit, so if that's your thing, I can do custom wallpapers as well if you're interested. Starting off with one I recently finished.

Up next, is a Wallpaper I had done as a request from a friend, he wanted something representing a carbon atom.
Anonymous 01/04/15 (Sun) 09:39:19 No. 2574
This is my last one, you may have seen it once or twice. The main reason it was made was to be used as the album art to a single a friend and I had made. I thought it looked good enough to warrant a wallpaper sized image as well.

It's nice to see another person that does 3D work. Here is some shit I did when I was screwing around with hair particle systems.

>>2604 Dunno yet, the dude's apparently working on it.
From what I've heard him say, its going to be a mix of guitar and electronic. Supposedly coming out in October.
It was a request, so I don't really know much of the details personally.
But thanks for the kind words yo!

>>2604 If you want though, the wp on the moon was done for a personal project me and a friend worked on called Earthshine.
We worked pretty hard on it.
Check it out if you want (Dunno if you can post links on here, but it should be easy to find on soundcloud)

I'm working on another one if you guys are interested. This is just a WIP render, there's still a lot to be done, but I guess it's enough to convey the idea. It's going to be a pseudo 80's neon style, with the highways having light trails and shit, the buildings giving off their own neon glows. In the background, I'm going to be putting some low poly california/la-esque mountains. Then I'm gonna finish off with some light bokeh on the mountains and in some other places for added shit. This one is taking a long time to make, but I'll probably post it here when I'm done.

Hey, this is the low poly dude that posted all the low poly shit and that work in progress screenie (this one,
>>2608 )
.
I finally finished.
Shit took 4 days to make, and 12 hours to render using 3 computers.
Enjoy.

Also, secondary sshot was made by me on 31-12-2013.

Made this using random.org bitmap generator, which uses atmospheric noise for true randomness. It looks pretty cool if you have the exact resolution as every pixel is either completely black or completely white.

Ahh. I did this one a while ago. Didn't take me too long, and I didn't have anything planned for it, just had a short lived idea that was lucky enough to be plastered on some pixels.

Since this is an OC thread, do you have a deviantart, email, etc? I might want to get in contact with the artist who made this.

filters are low effort trash
the other two are source image I nicked from some tumblerette's deviart, and a wip
I'll fix the colour detail, and the proportions on the grill to look less like a beanbag with noodle arms as well.
