I think that participation in the VOTW voting is low because it is too complicated. For example, based on these instructions I can't tell where the nomination and voting is supposed to take place.
I enjoyed this video from Varg's channel about teaching his sons to change the transmission and differential lubricant in their truck. It reminded me of times when I was a child and my dad taught me about how to repair things on his truck, and on how to fix other machines and build things. I think that I owe a great deal of who I am today to the lessons that my dad taught me about construction and maintenance.

They usually go down in less than a week or so after being uploaded. The russian translations with overdubbed audio and subs and so on stay up a bit longer.
