Have any of you bought nice copies of the eddas? It's hard enough to even find a damn paperback on the internet, so much so that I'm tempted to just order a paperback and have it custom rebound.

If you have a specific translation in mind and prefer a specific binding, I can't help but think that the easiest and cheapest way to get there is exactly as you said – order a paperback and have it rebound. I would also take into account the quality of the paper stock, though. A lot of paperbacks are printed on poor quality paper.

I think so. I draw knotwork so I'd be able to send them an image of my own without worrying about copyrights. This is turning into a big project, though.

Raidho is right about the paper quality. I wonder if there's a company that can reprint as well as rebind?

maybe this would tie in well with the book project since me and the others working in it have proposed to design a custom cover art for it depicting the irminsul
