When i was younger my mother used to take me to some (i think asatru, definitely some kind of norse) bonfires as part of her faith. Now i never really believed in that stuff and she never tried to force it on me, but i feel like i missed out in life on the opportunity to rebel against the religion of my parents.

Christianity has satanism and the like, but how could i be an edgy anti-asatru? Worshipping surtr? I basically want to do a stupid practical joke to my parents whilst I'm visiting them about having adopted the opposite religion of theirs.

If your folks are New Age Wiccan type Pagans, just play up the full-blown stereotypical Hitler loving Skinhead White Nationalist Boogeyman that they fear.

If they are Folkish/Traditionalist/White Nationalist Pagans, just act like the most insufferably fruity, Hippie, Vegan, Progressive Genderqueer, Wiccan you can possibly be.

They were sort of in the middle i guess. Relatively secular, didn't feel any real connection to vikings (and im pretty sure my ancestors weren't that far north) and were pretty hippy about it but it was standard interpretations of norse deities so there wasn't much "wiccan" stuff i ever saw.

They were kind of like the "christian but not religious" stereotypical people you see on american TV, but norse. Wears a thor's hammer rather than a cross, went to creepy bonfires instead of church and never really brought up any militant aspects of their faith.

Since they're slap dash in the middle, just choose between which extreme I brought up would freak them out the most based on your personal knowledge of them.

>how could i be an edgy anti-asatru?

Join Christianity. They will take literally anyone, even a mentally retarded inbred Syrian.
