>Told the interview is in the foyer

>times approaching

>bricking it

>nervously ask cleaning lady where it is

>polish accent

>fucking reeeee

>takes me to the security office since they'd know

>interview isn't in foyer, is in next building

>go there, doors handles have been fucking removed

>assume theres another entrance

>there isn't

>luckily on return trip another guy has had the door opened for him from the inside

>sprint before door closes

>finally get in

>give name etc, get seated to be called

>others are all normal guys and one sjw looking girl

>stealthily listen in on other interviews to get questions in advance

>interview only takes 5 mins with simple questions

Fuck me i nearly bloody wonder if getting there was part of a test, also just realising they never said when they'd get back to me, im fucked aren't i ?

I don't know if you've been paying attention to the news at all lately, but there have been more than a few attacks on innocent "non-believers" by religious extremists in the last few years. They are very willing to sacrifice themselves for their god, along with massacring as many innocents as possible in the process. If that's not "really believing", then I don't know what is.

The post you originally replied to was clearly referring specifically to European religions, not all religions

 No.56264

>>56263

No, no it wasn't, and even if it was my post was still relevant because even rural European/Western communities are generally socially conservative and religious. If it said "those religions are dying", or "that religion is dying", then sure, but it quite clearly says "Religion is dying", implying the whole concept of religion worldwide is slowly being replaced by atheism. A lot of people genuinely believe that because they forget the entire world isn't just the small slice of people in the world they come across or talk to IRL and online, and I assumed anon might have been one of those people.

 No.56265

Just got home from my £24k pa job as a consultant at a semi-decent recruitment firm in the city. Pulled up to my part-share 3 bedroom Barratt house in my Volkswagen golf gti. About to put my feet up and watch Netflix with the girlfriend on my wall mounted plasma Tele whilst eating a ready meal from Waitrose, after that i might do a cheeky watch of the footie whilst she's away running a bath.

I wonder if arsenal will infact beat man u? After all i did put a cheeky lay bet on at work with the lads. Speaking of the lads, i wonder if we'll go for drinks down at 'revs this week? Last time it was banterous with "Pitcher" Pete from sales slapping that waitresses arse and getting kicked out of the club, haha, we ended up in the kebaby chatting shit about looney politicians, haha.

I'll just check my bank account on my iWatch to see if i can finance this weeks "shenanigans", ah! of course, i'm overdrawn, best ask the gf again see if she can transfer at least £800 from her beauty therapy pay packet. I'll make up for it by doing a facebook post with a pic of me and her saying how much i am grateful to have her, If not i could always put a claim in at the ole bank of mum and dad, haha.

 No.56284

I can't lift my arms lads. After we'd all had dinner dinner, I offered to take my niece (aged 3) for a walk on my own and maybe take her to some local parks, because my sister and mum were too lazy to go, and it'd been a long time since I'd been for a proper walk anyway. We went to one park, then I said "let's find another one", and eventually we'd been to about 5 different parks, and ended up about 0.75 miles away from my house (after already walking about 1.35 miles). When we were at the last park, I checked my phone, and saw that my mum had text me 25 minutes ago telling me to come back because her dad was here to take her home.

I text back to say sorry and that I was on my way, picked her up, and then carried her (plus a carrier bag with our water bottles) most of the way back while walking as fast as I could without dropping her. I was absolutely shitting it because I was so late and neglected to keep an eye on my phone, and this was also the first time I'd been trusted to take her out on my own. Managed to get back in under 15 minutes, I apologised to my sister and her fiance for worrying them, and now I just feel exhausted. Walked 2.1 miles overall, which is double what I intended, and probably too much for my nieces little legs, I definitely got carried away with the whole "park adventure" we were on. When I got home, I tried to splash my face with water to get rid of some of the sweat, but I genuinely couldn't lift my hands up to my face, so I had to basically put my head in the sink.

I was just looking on Amazon to see if graphics card prices have come down at all, but they're higher than ever before, and almost entirely out of stock across the board. The ASUS STRIX GTX 1070 OC for example is now listed at about £500 to pre-order (because there's no stock left), up from £400 at the start of June.

Feeling despondent, I thought I'd have a cheeky look on eBay to see if the second hand market was still just as bad. It was mostly as I predicted, but then I saw someone selling the aforementioned card for just £380 (+ £14 delivery). It looked practically brand new, with all the original packaging and everything, and posted just a couple of hours ago.

I nabbed that card faster than a fatty could eat a jammy biscuit. Wasn't gonna let that bargain slip through my fingers, who knows how long it'll be before market prices come back down to normal. I said in >>56001 that "I'm gonna get a factory OC'd GTX 1070 for a bargain, mark my words", and I can officially say I have done it. Perseverance lads, perseverance.

Today I've been re-playing Half-Life 2, just to see what a game from that time looks like at 1440p120Hz. Currently midway through the Ravenholm section, the game still holds up in my books, even in terms of graphics, although it's a lot easier than I remember. It's probably due to being able to see everything a lot more clearly and more instantaneously on my new monitor, but it's like my aim accuracy has gone up 200%.

There's something about games from around the 2002 - 2005 mark just looks so clean and crisp, there's little to no post-process/shader bullshit muddying the picture up, just really sharp looking graphics. I miss it.

Most of the outdoor segments are comfy as far as I can remember, except maybe Ravenholm. What I really like is all the little out-of-the-way secret areas, in fact I found one today that I never knew existed before.

During the boat section, there's a ledge with two sewer pipe tunnels on top, one with broken grating that's slightly ajar. You can't really reach the platform without awkwardly jumping on top of the boat thing and then jumping up to it, which took me some persistence. Past the grating, there's a long tunnel filled with the toxic sludge shit that you're forced to wade through draining almost all your health, and at the end is a little room containing a Vortigaunt, who has like 5 minutes worth of dialogue if you keep talking to him repeatedly.

What he said wasn't particularly interesting, but it's still a cool reward for taking the time to stop and look around when you'd otherwise zoom right past it. That's the shit I like in games, I hate any game where you're constantly cucked for exploring because there's never anything in those nooks and crannies.

Nintendo are the biggest kikes in gaming, even surpassing Blizzard, but some people just love sucking their rotten cock. It's like they're hypnotised by the bright colours, playschool-tier aesthetics, and faux family-friendliness, into thinking they're somehow a good company.

I'm a big proponent of vibrant and colourful games, but a large portion of Nintendo's first party games are done in a way that's particularly infantilising, like something you'd see on the wall of a nursery. A lot of games these days seem to be pretty colourful, at least compared to a few years ago, in fact I think it would be a harder task now to find games that aren't colourful than ones that are.

I'll use this opportunity to shill Witcher 3 some more. It's a fairly colourful game to begin with, especially for a war-torn medieval world, but once you get to Toussaint it's just beautiful. Here's a few other games from recent years too, that are colourful without looking like they're designed for toddlers.

As someone who owns most nintendo consoles, I'll try and explain the thought process behind some of these, for the colourfull and bright aesthetic, and unique stuff like wool world, I think they just feel fun to play because they look nice, the bright colours moving, I can admit that is a very infant thing, but the gameplay is where that is supposed to change,

Yoshi's woolly world, I bought some time after it came out for £15, I wouldnt have bought it full price because of some worries I had about it, which turned out to be true. The game is for infants. The levels are essentially walk left to right, occasionally jump. Sometimes theres more to them than this but its not hard, its probably one of the easiest games ive played. I gave up halfway through world 2 after realising the difficulty was never going to increase.

Mario 3D world is actually quite good, although the rate of challenging vs easy levels isnt as high on the challenging end as Id like, and theres a lot that are insanely hard at the end with not enough in the perfect middle ground. Its something I enjoyed playing to the end, because even the easy levels were harder than anything in Yoshi.

Where you want to go if you want a decent platformer on a nintendo console is on of the donkey kong games, both donkey kong country returns and tropical freeze are really good platformers with a nice aesthetic.

Animal crossing is super comfy, in the same way ahrvest moon is, although I admit theres far less challenge to them, theyre essentially collectathons for fish/bugs and theyre fun for designing your home with the furniture available.

Hey pikmin is fucking trash and I dont understand it at all, the real pikmin games are completely different, theyre essentially single player strategy games with less autism and a lot more user friendly.

Although my go to for nintendo consoles is Zelda, and the one on switch was a really good open world game, but a pretty bad zelda game.

Lack of manpower (and money to pay them with) is the main cause. It's often just one or two people who are in way over their heads with a project that really takes an organised team. Even with a team it's something that takes a couple of years minimum. If it's just a couple of lads doing it in their spare time, it's simply never going to happen.

The only chance you have at getting this sort of thing completed, is getting a proper development team together, and getting the project officially licensed, like Christian Whitehead has done with the classic Sonic remakes and the upcoming Sonic Mania, Lizardcube has done recently with Wonderboy: The Dragon's Trap, and Crowbar Collective are doing with Black Mesa. Large projects on this scale simply aren't feasible for a small group of hobbyists/modders doing it for free.

This is it, lads. There's no going back. We are currently witnessing the end of white Britain. "B-but things can always get better!" No, the population is docile and brainwashed by mass media on all fronts to believe the anti-white narrative.

Just look at any major film/TV show or even just a fucking advert. Couples are all interracial (almost always BMWF), white men are either portrayed as weak and effeminate or strong and evil, everything has a token friendly good guy shitskin and token white male faggot.

every day we hear how we aren't "diverse" enough and that this is a problem which needs to be addressed, everyone simply accepts this ludicrous proposal without asking themselves if it actually IS a problem. The BBC try to shoehorn pakis and wogs into every fucking thing they produce, despite making up only ~15% of the population. Any time a white man stands up and rejects this he is immediately set upon from all sides and declared to be worse than Hitler and reminded that Britain is a Nation Of Immigrants™ and that whites invented slavery and nazism and evil colonialism so we should just lie down and accept the cultural enrichment because of inherited guilt.

The biggest barriers in my opinion are the bullshit "hate speech / hate crime" laws, that's the gun behind the head of the normies that's really pushing them to sing the song of multiculty.  No.56492

Those laws are going nowhere though lad. They're supported wholeheartedly by normie scum because it means people can't leave mean comments on their facebook or post nasty racism on twitter.

In the past, when a people were pushed too far they could rise up and force change on an oppressive ruling elite. Now, they're so utterly brainwashed and cowed by social media and mind-numbing television that apathy is king. There will be no uprising, those days are over.

Had a car accident back in May when some guy in a van reversed into my parked car, so I put a claim in on the insurance.

First two calls went well and everything was on track, then I missed the third call that came through because I was asleep. Went full autisto-anxiety mode and kept ignoring the calls because I'm fucking braindead. Finally worked up the nerve to chase it up and called the insurer back, the woman on the phone told me my only options now were to either claim it on my own insurance and lose my no-claims bonus (which would jump my next insurance renewal up by around £300) or just close the claim altogether and pay for the repair myself.

Just closed the claim and feel like absolute shit now, although I do feel slight relief that the ordeal is over and I don't have to worry myself sick and feel like crying every time my phone rings.

From the 3 games you started off the list with, I can immediately tell that we don't see eye to eye on what constitutes a good game. On your picks, we already know that the general opinion of the FO series here is mixed, and I don't think we've ever discussed M&B:W, which I personally found to be boring and rubbish.

I think tastes vary enough among the lads on this board that a list of "/britfeel/ approved" games simply isn't going to happen, unless we only take ourselves and a couple of agreeing anons into account. I'd prefer to not have such a list at all, and just stick to having our own individual opinions.

If you're really interested in mine, I predominantly like older games, mainly in the action/adventure/platformer genres, such as classic Zelda, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Spyro, Sonic, etc. I typically don't enjoy anything with RPG or strategy elements, but I make exceptions for TES and Witcher 3 because they're more action-adventurey.

And this is coming from someone that actually likes old, outdated, "rough around the edges" games. Reading people praise the game makes me feel like I've entered a bizarro world, where bad is good and good is bad.

I want to add that I actually bought all the M&B games on GOG for about £6 in about 2014 because I'd heard a lot of praise about Warband specifically, but I thought it was so crap that I still managed to feel ripped off.

While the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games were very atmospheric, I personally found them buggy as fuck and a bit tedious, to the extent that I never completed any of them because I lost interest.

M&B:W is one of my favourite games, though. I always go back to it at some point, and there are a fuckload of good mods for it.

Been really hooked on Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead recently, it's a roguelike set in a zombie apocalypse and it has this really nice vehicle system where you can modify them in any way you want and even build them from scratch. Anything from a wooden sled to a Mad Max style spiked war wagon with mounted plasma cannons.

The creator is a massive SJW prick who gets upset when people use the word "retarded" online and calls others "white pieces of shit". Creator of a wide range of well-known internet content since at least the mid 00s (remember "The Ultimate Showdown" and "Potter Puppet Pals"? Both him), but an obnoxious SJW prick nonetheless.

Regarding his "Mouth" albums, it's just bits and pieces of multitrack audio ripped from the Guitar Hero / Rock Band games, mashed up with other pieces of music that he didn't make. They're very well made as far as mashups go, but mashups are fairly babby-tier to begin with. I know he can actually make his own music though, he normally releases it under his "Lemon Demon" alias. Clearly a talented lad, it's just a shame he's such a pretentious dickhead.

>>56586

None of my post was snark nor negatively directed at you in anyway, that was me agreeing with you and then relaying my experience with other people online who praise doctors and anti-depression/anti-anxiety drugs to the sun, then at a later date they get fucked in the arse by them. I actually have no idea how you interpreted that as "snark", did you think I was mocking you or something?

>This LIBERAL PRODIGY is making CUTTING EDGE MUSIC and basically you're just a SUBURBAN RETARD DRUMPF SUPPORTER

I do find his stuff really amusing and catchy though. Since I started working I've stopped caring if people are liberal or not; the level of globalist propaganda we're all subjected to is totally unprecedented and I'm not sure the average human mind is well-equipped enough to resist it. If I hadn't been NEET for 3 years I'd probably be liberal, or at the very least apolitical; it's only really thanks to being a huge virgin loser and spending countless on hours on /pol/ that I'm as right-wing as I am. I look upon liberals now with pity instead of disdain. The lad makes good mashups and I'll appreciate that for what it is.

I dunno, if it was just the one rape then she might think "it were the patriarchy wot did this", but being raped by pakis twice on the same night could trigger some sort of PTSD when encountering brown-skinned individuals.

Think of it like this, if a seagull shits on your head, you'd become very wary of birds in general, but if two seagulls shit on you within the same day, and no other type of bird did, you're gonna be far more wary of seagulls specifically rather than any other types of bird.

I've been putting it off for almost a decade, but I'm finally going to attempt to make the move from 32 bit VSTs, to 64 bit VSTs. This is a rabbit hole that will take several days at least to get through, and will certainly break a bunch of things that weren't broken, but I'm going to do it.

 No.56606

Good lad, what will it improve?

 No.56607

>>56606

Not much kek, it's mainly just satiating autism.

I use FL Studio, and the 64 bit .exe can load 32 bit VSTs in a bridged mode, but I'd rather everything was running natively. I've been using the 32 bit version of FL since 2005, but with that there is a 4 GB RAM usage limitation, which has admittedly never been much of a problem, but it's still there, and perhaps I subconsciously limit myself to avoid ever hitting it. There are some workarounds, but I'd rather just not have that limitation at all, and also be on par with the rest of the industry, which moved to 64 bit years ago.

It's also potentially future-proofing, in case 32 bit support ever gets dropped, which will happen at some point I'm sure.

>What's going on with you lad? I'm having a bit of a shit night and can't sleep

Sorry to hear that lad. My sleep pattern has drifted out, it's reached that point of no return where I have to commit to staying up longer and longer each day until I reach normal time. Before yesterday it was probably still salvageable (in that I could go to bed earlier and earlier to get myself back on track), but when it's this sort of time, it's easier to go the other way.

>nice to see that we are managing to get new posters in semi-regularly without even having to advertise

Yeah, I'm guessing something's going on over on halfchan that's sent a couple of anons over, things must be really dire if even an alleged girl is fed up with it.

 No.56622

>>56621

Yeah I haven't checked in on it in a while, must be a shitshow. I don't mind a girl posting provided they never mention their gender, if they do then I'm going to rudepost them though. I might just try your solution and see how long I can stay up, but that sounds like hell to me at the moment. I wish I could just sleep 24/7. My dreams are so much better than real life anyways. Waiting on some results back that determine whether or not I can go to Uni this year, if I can't I'll just suck it up and start looking for work and that sort of thing, but I wish I would just know already. It's the waiting that's the worst part, I just want to know so I can get on with planning my life.

 No.56623

>My dreams are so much better than real life anyways

Mine usually are too, but recently they've been a bit shit.

Last night I had a dream that an old friend from school turned up at my door asking if I wanted to hang out. I was happily surprised to see that someone still remembered me after so many years of having no friends, so I told him to just wait a second for me to get my shoes on, but he said "I'll go on ahead", and walked around the corner. By the time I was ready, he was nowhere to be seen, and had effectively abandoned me before I even got out the door. Felt bad man.
