Hello thread. Back home. Was stuck next to a spesh on the ward. They've sent me home without actually fixing the problem. Only telling me what it isn't. 'Well anon, it isn't a Stroke or a Tumour. I guess you can go home.'

They sent me home with a broken finger, bone sticking out of my skin. Too many Pakis shitting up A&E.

That's the only time I've ever gone to hospital for something.

 No.8148

>>8147

Actually, I'm going to elaborate.

I broke my finger in the morning, got a taxi to hospital and waited around for a few hours only for them to tell me they couldn't operate because there were no empty rooms to do it. Instead they tried pushing my finger bone back in my finger, which didn't work. They then sent me to a different hospital far away, and I waited around there for a few more hours. I had to stand up all the time too since there were no empty seats. By this time it was night time, and they told me I'd have to come back tomorrow because they didn't have any openings either.

Besides spraining my wrists, probably a toss up between the time I accidentally stabbed a pencil into my hand, and the time I fell of my bike and got a small stone stuck in my hand. Never had anything serious though. I was never allowed to play outside beyond a single summer holidays when I was 12 (and I wasn't allowed to leave my street) because my parents are overly protective, so I spent the vast majority of my life indoors on my computer.

Little cousin cut the webbing between my finger and thumb with a pair of kitchen scissors as I held a piece of string for them to cut when making Christmas decorations. I forget how terrifying kids can be sometimes.

Reading all these a&e stories made me check my privilege on growing up in a rich white area. One time when I was 15 I got hit in the face with a fencing post (long story). Tore a hole between the area above upper lip and the inside of my mouth. Walked myself to a&e, was out within the hour with fresh stitches.

 No.8164

>>8163

Jesus man. After posting here. Went to the doctors and was 'rushed into A&E' I use quotations because despite them being concerned I was about to have a heart attack, it took 4 hours to see a doctor, 7 to get a bed. The NHS is complete bollocks at the moment. There was a complete spesh in the bed next to me, an ELDERLY downs syndrome. I didn't even think they existed but apparently they do. And they way she got spoken to by some of the staff was horrible. This Spanish doctor grabbed her arm and said 'if you don't stay still I'll make you.' Then took her took her blood with her screaming. She was fucking terrified. Clearly scared of the needle. There's a way doing things,

 No.8165

>>8164

Reminds me of when I got taken in with ITP. They said I could've died at any moment from internal bleeding, but I had to wait a few hours to speak to a doctor and even longer to get a bed.

What we need is more mass immigration, clearly.

 No.8166

>>8165

Definitely, that'll fix things.

 No.8167

>>8165

Oh, and my town is 96% white, yet most of the doctors were pakis who came across as cold and nonchalant. Don't really know what's going on there - apparently there are a lot of British doctors who get turned down due to positive discrimination.

This country really is fucked - I don't think the average person realizes just how fucked it actually is. I would like to get myself off of benefits so that if there ever is a 'happening'-type scenario I'll at least be somewhat secure; but that's proving to be quite difficult.

How will you fare if there is civil unrest in Britain? If you live in a diverse/poor area you might be in for some turmoil.

 No.8168

>>8167

I'm pretty much fucked, 2011 census states that 26.1% of people in my town are black or other ethnic minorities, 18.5% of were not born in the UK. This was double what it was in 2001, so it's probably significantly higher now.

Just leaving DRM heavy distribution platforms in general. They've really fucked up this time, putting user-created Skyrim mods up for sale, often made using content that was intended to be usable for free on Nexus (without permission from the original creators), with 75% of the cut going to Valve/Bethesda. It's about time people realised putting all their eggs in one company's basket was a terrible investment, especially when you are only paying for a license to play the game using their own DRM, and you are unable to play without Steam (unless you crack the game).

Standard british party usually has >>8273 plus sausage rolls, breadsticks, some crusty bread and posh meat (no shitty value slices) and various jams, a selection or a bowl of salad, scotch eggs, meat skewers, etc. Usually you combine this with a sweet/dessert section that has things like trifle, cupcakes, victoria sandwich cake, etc.

BBQs are a bit different, you just need a ton of sausages, burgers, meat skewers, etc. with some extras like baps, butter, ketchup, mustard, cheese, onions and lettuce. Chips or wedges don't hurt either.

 No.8280

>>8276

For sides to can't go wrong with

Potato salad

Leaf salad

Nicely seasoned potato wedges

Coleslaw (good backup option)

And then obviously make sure you have

Hot dogs and bun

Burgers and buns (also cheese slices and relish etc, tomato slices and lettuce if you want to go all out)

Veggie burgers just in case

Guests should bring some meat/alcohol but you can never choose what you get so have some beers /wine ready.
