Well, I just saw it and I hadn't read the script for it (wherever scripts for these comics might be posted, aside from Inkbunny, a site I am on and am aware of a few having been posted there in the past, plus BBMBBF being there too), so I was surprised to see an incest scene within a page! Even if it's made references to incest previously, actual or otherwise (AB and Big Mac, I suppose the first chapter with the ponies who took care of the dragons that were Spike's parents, etc), it was still a surprise!
But yeah, I agree that that part was a bit bleh, with not showing more of Button's mother clearly and/or making the scene a bit bigger, like they did with Spike's fantasies in the previous chapter. And his face there… a bit of a contrast to the rest of the page.
Ah well… I look forward to the upcoming Sparity, as the pairing is dubbed!
