Think of it as a historian's interpretation of Oberstein. Besides the narrator, the viewer and maybe his secretary, nobody really knew what he was like. Flanderization just comes with the territory.

There's a Kindle version available in my region. It's about 3 bucks cheaper than the physical release.

I'll wait for reviews regarding the translation's quality as well.

Daniel Huddleston is the translator's name, apparently. A quick lookup on amazon shows that he's worked on unrelated Japanese titles, and that he hasn't that many translations under his belt.

Sure I can. I will get it when it is released. The other translation works don't look that bad at the first glance. One is some Samurai novel and the other is 50s Sci-fi. If the publisher is Lucky with that guy, they got the Jürgen Seebeck of dorky novels.
