Can we talk about how perfect Hatsune Miku is from a visual design perspective? Seriously, how did they get her this right?
No.4278
Miku is the best character design of all time. Everything about her is perfect.
We are lucky to have her, because we live in an era of aesthetic degeneracy. Art that strives after an ideal, a vision of perfection or beauty, has been in retreat since the early 20th century. In its place we have "socially aware" art that is bleak, twisted and disgusting.

>Cute and girly clothing
>mostly blue, the most popular color
>unrealistic hair, immediately obvious that she's not supposed to look human, so nobody gives her shit for looking weird
>no one trait of her face or body is too extreme, so she can wear anything
>actually the hair is silly but that's just more for artists to play with
>No canon personality so it's easy to assume she acts as cute as she looks, also so we don't tire of her
A likable, versatile character. Was she designed this way by accident, or carefully planned and calculated?
No.4282
You may all inquire as to how and why she is flawless in every imaginable way, but please, do not delve too deeply into how impeccable she is. The human mind cannot comprehend her infinite magnificence.
No.4283
>>4281Not to pick on you or anything, because this is a widespread thing, but "blue"? Her hair is cyan / teal / turquoise or in other words approximately equal parts blue and green. Since not all depictions have exactly the same hue, you could also describe it as a range between robin's egg blue and seafoam green.
What really throws me is that some people say "blue" and the rest say "green" but nobody calls it like it is.
No.4346
>>4283I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Blue, is in fact, Green/Blue, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, BLU plus Green, or Aqua. Aqua is not a color unto itself, but rather a mixed component of two fully functioning colors made useful by blending.

I'm pretty sure they had all the colors planned from the very beginning.
Pic related, the subtractive color model.

She's so perfect, she can make a heart with her hair just because she loves you that much.
