I don't know if I'd call this emotional and introspective, but it's good. Lifetimes is the standout track for me here. Solid electronic release

Really whimsical and very enjoyable. I don't hear much like this, especially stuff that's this well-made

Does /mu/ play an instrument? Discuss where you're at skill wise, what you're working on writing or learning currently, ask other anons for help, etc. Post audio clips of your playing (for critique of your playing, not full mixes for promotion). And finally post your gear but don't shit up the thread with brandwhoring and annoying shit.

I have a fender jaguar bass and a knock off strat guitar that I play through a fender bass amp. Started messing around at 15 but didn't follow through (although I noodled around a lot and had a lot of little melodies and compositions in my head). Trying to actually sit down and learn at 23. Starting with the major and minor scales, as well as the e harmonic minor scale on guitar. Learning time signature counting on bass and basic notes. The goal is to be able to compose an EP or album of original material that mixes prog and jazz fusion time signatures and tempo changes with my own melodies.

Guitar. Can play all the essential open chords and switch between them with ease. Just barely scratched the surface on scales and home notes and plan on getting into barre chords later on. So far its been a lot of fun. Started late last year

Browse the Internet and sometimes read. My attention span kinds of seems like it's going, though. I could listen to extreme metal and read a book at the same time back in high school, but now I find myself turning music off a lot when I'm reading.

I usually listen to music while I'm browsing dead boards or exercising. When it comes to tasks that require concentration though, it just becomes distracting noise. I also avoid listening to music out of boredom, or for the sake of creating mental buzz.
