What country has the nicest forests? I live in a terrible part of Australia and have never been out of my state. We have horrible, sweaty rainforests and bushland here, but I've never seen a real forest in my life.

Oh, and the laws regarding camping, firelighting, etc are really liberal here. You can basically go anywhere (assuming you're not disturbing any landowners) and light a fire anywhere (unless it doesn't rain for prolonged periods).
