so where are my dirt road soldiers at? I grew up going barefoot everywhere. on grass, dirt, mud puddles, even pebble roads and hot pavement don't really bother me. I usually only wear flip flops except at work. barefoot innawoods is a must.

thorns can suck. I've had one in my foot for about 3 days now that I only feel when I step a certain way. it'll work it's way out eventually though. what I worry about is glass, jagged sticks and ticks.
but you can immunize yourself against poison ivy. when I was a kid I always got rashes from it and now it's such a non issue for me I barely even remember what it looks like. people actually eat the shit to gain immunity from it, but I don't know about all that.
