Second Life has broken me.

weird suggestion, but take a break from SL. Go on a month long or however long haitus and spend time with friends more. It's hard to stop, but you'll end up appreciating your life a lot more. Don't forget to thank the girl you're with for being in your life.

I 'unno, why is this a bad thing? The more the merrier. Just because you have a good relationship and life doesn't mean you should settle for that and be boring. Does the SL shit hurt her or you? Then why stop?

SL brings me friends, cuddlebuddies, and employment opportunities. It's single-handedly one of the most important agency granting networking tools I've ever used. don't be so insecure about who you are and your interests.

If SL deprives you of agency and makes you neglect important things, you were already doing it wrong, dropping SL won't fix that. You'll just find something else to replace it to excuse those fundamental character flaws in yourself.

Assuming you're not lying about your RL which would be pretty sad, I think you're an idiot for not taking advantage of your situation to have even more fun in SL.

People in SL are almost always alone and looking for groups to interact with. Just the fact that you can bring your gf into SL would boost your social interaction with pretty much everyone in there. And I'm sure your girl would enjoy it because they like that social drama shit.
