As for the suspicion thing; I'd be suspicious of anybody who displayed a behaviour almost exclusive to the lowest tier of humans on the planet (muzzies). People I've known who've actively disliked, or in worse cases, mistreated dogs, have been pretty shitty people in other aspects of their lives - I see it as an indicator of character. Finally home, I've been at my sister's place all day. Walked to the park with her, my mum, mum's boyfriend and my niece who was in a push-along tricycle that my mum got her for her birthday. She seemed to love it, and also had a pretty good time on the swings.
Had another chippy while we were there too, but I had a burger because the ones they make at my sister's local are amazing. The rest of the time was spent playing with building blocks on the floor, but I couldn't build much without my niece charging over, knocking it down, and crawling off with the pieces.
I'm probably going to go to bed soon, I'm completely exhausted after today and yesterday (niece's birthday party), and I have an appointment tomorrow with the mental health service (that was booked about 3 or 4 months ago) to see what they can do for social anxiety. Guys says I should wait a few days, almost been a week so i decided to send an annoyed email asking whats happening.
It's like a big joke, none of these offers seem like they're real or exist.

Mostly through my parents who are quite well off but also my own wages and savings. Most of through a £25k trust fund I got from my dead grandmother. I'm a sack of shit really.
My parents don't even know I blew it all on gambling. I could blame my dad who set me up a betfair account when I was 11 and interested in maths and football. He showed me the odds changing when teams scored and after that I was hooked. At one stage I was profitable, early on when I was about 17 only betting £10 here and there. But once I built it up to about £5000 over about a year or so and I was betting £1000 a time and winning that buzz was hard to replace with £10 bets again and. So after that once I started only betting in big amounts and I obviously become an degenerate gambling addict.
In a sense it's been better for my mental state as nowadays I only gamble every couple of months when I save up enough to have a big bet but obviously losing big amounts of money is never a good feeling.
I've been to Gamblers anonymous and stuff but wasn't taken in with the "God stuff" and believing in a higher power. Hopefully I can sort it out on my own though, I just need to fill the void of it really; get off my ass and do something with my life.

I've lived like that for years, so I know those feels like the back of my hand.
If you ever want to be on your way to overcoming it and assuming your daily life is anything like mine was, start with the raw basics like sorting out your sleep pattern and hygiene routine (brushing teeth, showering, etc.). Make it a goal to be in and out of bed before a certain time (bed before 1am, up before 10am works well for me, but you'll need to see what works for you).
Once you've been doing okay with those for a while, force yourself into the garden if you have one.
Eventually you will get used to just being outside, and then you can move on to walking around the block, perhaps going slightly further each time as you build up confidence and strength.
What comes after that I've yet to find out, I'm new at this myself, but this is a summary of everything I've done since the beginning of the year. I've gone from hiding in my room in an almost constant state of anxiety for nearly a decade, to going for 1 mile walks every other day and even being able to attend and help out with setting up a family gathering last weekend.
This has taken me about 6 months so far, but of course I've had lapses and setbacks along the way, but I just made sure to keep reminding myself how possible it is to get back on track. I'm still a complete disaster when talking to people outside of my close family, but I'm working on it.

Be prepared for edgy, this is something younger me wrote. I say younger, it was early 2010 I think.
—————————-
He stepped out onto the harbour, his wooden armour ruined, crumbling underneath the intense sun. He looked around, there wasn’t much in the area apart from boats and a small hut, the sea was bringing in a harsh breeze, causing his cape to sway in the wind.
He removed a knife from his boot and viciously cut off his cape and held it up for the wind to take.
I want to tell a story that people remember, something great, amazing, something epic, with swords and guns and time travel. One day, it will come together, it will be magical, I want people to know of my tales, the time I found paradise, the time I run from a hoard of ravenous werewolves.
I want to go on an adventure, sail the seas, one day I shall commandeer a boat, sail around Britain, picking up teenage castaways for my jolly pirate crew. Then we will sail to small islands, helping the inhabitants by day, drinking by night. Then we will leave, onto the next destination. On our way we shall pick up stories, and we shall tell them to the British tourists we meet in foreign bats, we shall tell them of us, and they shall tell their friends and so on. We will become legends, urban myth, and although that is what I want now, we will have passed this then, we will be living in the moment, loving what we do, sleeping rough and making the world a better place.
Eventually we’ll try and get to Russia, although I hear the ports are icy, so it will be hard, no boar I get from around here will get in there, I’ll have to find a new boat, perhaps something from some place I visit. Then we will teach compassion to the cold hearted Ruski’s, and the world will be a better place. Then we will get horses, and travel over land through Europe, continuing out quest to help people in need, and out name shall spread over Europe too, until we eventually reach France, where we shall settle for some years, to enjoy life, and decide what our next adventure seeks from us.
That could be it. My urban adventure, but to do so I would have to research, sail myself, visit the ports, the countries. I would not feel right writing about something I had not experienced, be it sword fight, sailing or anything. There are so many ideas, swirling around in my head, I just want them to manifest and I don’t care how. Short stories? Books? Lyrics? Films? Who cares, I just need to get it out, I am mad with it inside me, and it seems the only way to get it out is writing down ideas like this. The words make me feel so much better, no matter how hastily scrawled they are, writing them makes me feel in my own world, so alive, writing could be my calling. I want to find my calling so much, not knowing what I want to do with my life is horrible.
Does everyone feel it? Not knowing what you want to do? Is everyone this empty? The problem is, what if I never find it? What if I always feel empty? Makes me wonder if there are people who never have.
Are all the adults in my life really happy? Does my mum just want to stay in all day, taking care of the house? Her child? Does my father want to work in law? Keep the streets clean? He seems to enjoy his hobby more, why didn’t he get a job in that? WHAT DO I WANT TO DO? Whatever it is, I hope I find it soon.
I should learn to like coffee. No I shouldn’t, shut up me, I thought coffee was part of my character, it would be cool, but NO!!! I am not a character, I am a person, I need to stop thinking like that. I think that carrying a notebook with me would help my mind. I can write everything down instead of keeping it in my head. Although I don’t know how long something that could fit in my pocket would last, Ill have to carry an A4 pad in a bag, that would be a good idea, I like bags, bags are cool, like bow ties. DR WHO REFERENCE. HAHAHAHA. I am such a product of TV and film, and video games. All that crap, what is even the real me? I don’t know, capitalism at its best.

Started at 8 stone 7 now at just under 10 stone. Been going to the gym for 3 months. I'm also taking creatine so some of that would be water weight mind.
I struggled with eatings loads of food at first too, that was mainly because I was eating healthy ish clean food like chest breast and oats. Since then I just eat what I want, a lot of calorie dense food to get my calories up.
If you're underweight just start lifting, get a lot of protein and calorie dense food and you'll put on muscle soon enough.

Not true, it can be used by anyone looking to put on some mass. Yeah my muscles, especially my arms look a bigger since taking it, anyway It's cheap as fuck, you can get a 8 month supply for like £15 on myprotein.

Hm, I'm around 8 1/2 stone right now, even though I'm 6ft tall. I was around 12 stone about 5 or 6 years ago, but it all dropped off one year and never came back.
I've got other aspects of my life I think I need to work on before trying the whole "work out and eat right" thing current goal is to go into a shop and buy something on my own, I'm finally at a point where I can go outside and walk there and back by myself, but I haven't gone in yet, but it's nice to know that it's possible. I'm pretty tired of being a frail skeleton.
No.15892

It will certainly increase your levels of water retention, but as far as muscle gains go, it's really not going to make a difference. The supplement industry is all about making people buy shit they don't need; all that matters is your routine and your nutrition. Even whey isn't necessary unless you struggle to hit your macros with solid food or have a busy schedule and don't have time for big meals.
I've been lifting for 4 years and have never used supplements, and am still progressing just fine; but this is just advice - take it or leave it. Perhaps you can save some money.

From what I've picked up over the years from online fitness communities (especially one particularly knowledgeable tripfag on 4chan /fit/ who ended up getting doxxed and having to leave) is that it's good for breaking plateaus when you've been lifting a while, so based on that it would seem pointless for a beginner - especially considering how mammoth beginner gains are. It can't hurt to take it, of course; but perhaps it would be better to save it for a time when you actually need it. I was progressing steadily until around 6 months ago when I injured my shoulder, and I've been recovering since then. I've never taken whey because I've always been able to hit my macros with food. If you struggle to eat enough, or have a busy schedule, then by all means take it - there's nothing better in these situations - but if neither apply to you then you might be wasting your money.

I don't feel sorry for you, because you have friends to invite you out even if you don't really like or know them, and you have enough confidence that you didn't immediately turn the offer down and hide in your room for the next few years, and actually went out with them.
Thinking that being out on a Friday night with friends is hell is pure normie world problems.

Eh, I'm not surprised, but I consider myself a cyborg, not a normie. The only reason I have friends is I clinged to them at school so I didn't get bullied, and they seen to put up with my avoiding them a lot. Theybwere the alt music/ mother crowd at uni, so somewhat easy to get into.
In other news, I left my coke for 20 minutes and now it tastes funny, I might have been spiked.

I'm happier being a robot
No.16058

Don't get me wrong, I prefer sitting at home doing bugger all, playing vidja and posting on imageboards that interacting with real people too, the only reason I consider myself a cyborg is that I have a group of "friends", even if I dont enjoy it, its more than I consider a robot to have, and I keep interacting with them at a minimum just in case I need social stuff. Other than today, the last time I saw them was a night during the easter break.

nothing wrong with being a cyborg, I just enjoy being a robot, I know some people are here because they're too anxious or socially retarded to be normies
No.16060

I'd enjoy being a robot too, I just feel like people may be useful to me some time in the future. They all have skills in various different areas that may be useful to me. I know a realtor, a travel agent, a musician, a cook, an engineer and someone that works on the trains. I don't have an emotional connection to them, but they do to me. I pretend to have missed them when I see them, then go a month or two without seeing them then do so again. If anything, I might be a psychopath.

Yeah, I mean, I appreciate company, like just someone else in the room, especially when eating but whether its another person, an animal or even a youtube video, I'm okay with it. I can't remember the last time I liked someone as a person, I have a group of "friends" and I feel like meeting or getting to know anyone else is a waste of time.

That's the crux of it really.
Most my depression when it was at it's worst was that I felt that I would never have friends, a girlfriend, an education, a job, a car, a house, children, etc., or even be able to leave the house on my own to go for a walk or go in a shop due to my inability to socialise and communicate with people (later diagnosed as asperger's) and a regression into a near constant state of anxiety and agoraphobia.
Even though I've since managed to conquer one of those things this recently (I've successfuly gone for walks on my own), I do still feel a lot of inner jealousy and disdain towards those who have managed to obtain any of those things, especially without ever being in a similar pit of despair to myself for many years.
I often have an inability to imagine what hardships and difficulties others my have faced or be facing during their lives, which is either due to my own personal failing, or asperger's (in which case, I'm not sure it can be helped).

My mum had a go at me for trying to throw away a bottle opening fridge magnet because she got it for me at Christmas. It's just tat, I'm never going to use it. Is it special because it has my name on and they paid a quid for it then stuck it in a stocking? I don't even drink anything from bottles, or have a fridge. I might just go stick it on the fridge downstairs and see how quickly it takes her to complain.

Went to my sisters with my dad for the day, we had a meal out too. Gave him his father's day presents (a load of useful kitchen stuff, he's going to be moving into a new house soon) and he seemed chuffed to bits with them. Spent the rest of the evening playing with my niece, she's started walking with only a little support now, won't be long before she can do it without.
Back home now though. Feels good to be doing things on a regular basis, even if they are fairly simple, after years of shutting myself away from everyone and everything.
