ITT: Ask questions you have about particular films. Be respectful and spoiler (at least seemingly) important elements to the film.

>The Turin Horse

Why do the woodworms stop eating?
Why does the storm stop?
What do these things signify? I feel that they're heavily symbolic of something.

How and why the early Rienfensthal Films like Der heilige Berg have the Black and Blue; and The Blue Light which sometimes looks like Black and Purple; instead of the traditional Black and White

How was that archived.

That's film tinting which involved soaking the film print of a particular scene in a dye bath. Another option was to purchase pre-tinted film: http://www.brianpritchard.com/tinting_and_toning_of_eastman_po.htm
You can see at the link there was a similar process called "toning" which seems a little more complex.

Are the trees a symbol for anything? Logs, broken and busted tree trunks, trees being felled, houses under construction, etc. Knowing the main character is a caretaker at a forest part of me wonders if it has to do with his psychology.

What was with the door closing on its own in the scene at the hospital where the main character and his ex-wife are talking?
