I'm not very familiar with mushrooms but some googling makes me think it's a type of Termitomyces (termite mushroom). Maybe "Termitomyces fuliginosus Heim"? Or perhaps a "mamarang" (Termitomyces cartilagineus)?
They tend to be edible but I would check with a mushroom expert before using them as an ingredient.
