Apparently there's a beta feature that allows threads to continue after reaching a bump limit. It deletes the first post (not the OP) after hitting bump limit and keeps deleting from the top as people post.
It has to be manually enabled on a per thread basis though.

Managed to clean out most of the dumb stuff and locked the old threads that reached over 300 posts and were before the whole implementation that 400 posts is the new bump limit.

Either way, I'm allowing anyone to upload their banners as well custom assets and custom flags. Here's a detailed rules list on how to add in your contribution.
Banners
Banners are a way to stylize the board to make it more indef. Rules to follow are:
- Banners must be related to Second Life and/or LindenLab
- Banners must adhere to the 8chan Global Rules
- Banners must be 300 x 100 image dimension.
- Banners cannot go past over 500kb.
- Banners must be png or gif formats only.
Custom Assets
Custom assets like spoiler images and et al. are a neat way to give the board a more authentic look. Rules to follow are:
- Spoiler Image must be 128x128; png only.
- File Deleted Image must be 140x50; png only.
- No File Image must be 500x500 (maybe downsize to 128x128?); png only.
- Any asset cannot go past over 300kb.
In addition to:
- Custom Assets must follow as said above with the first 2 rules (relation and global rules).
Custom Flags
Custom Flags are a nice way to label the post in a way, whenever be country or post related. Rules to follow are:
- Flags must follow as said above with the first 2 rules (relation and global rules).
- Flags can be group related (aka. /d/onghouse, et al.)
- Flags can have a custom description as long it doesn't go past over 255 length.
- Flags must be within the range of (11 to 20) x (11 to 15) image dimensions.
- Flags cannot go past over 48kb.
- Flags must be png format only.
Custom CSS Board Style
Having a custom SL related style would make the board heavily different from its default 8chan's styles. Rules to follow are:
- Style must be validated before being published.
- Style must be dark/light themed. Select either to make it easier for the user, make it duo and you'll be given a bonus.
- Style cannot have anything deemed to destroy the layout of the website, as well preventing the user from posting.
- Style must follow as said above with the first 2 rules (relation and global rules).

Not everyone in /sl/ is a furry and not every furry in the Donghouse is interested in furry culture or the message boards, it's a very broad culture and I'm sure those who have an interest in it are already aware of some forum, board or community.

That said I think that trying to branch off from /furry/ to this new /fur/ is a bad idea, furry has a lot of discussion threads and it's not like they fall off the front page, it just screams of someone or some people wanting board owner/mod statuses.

I decided to grab /fur/ because of folks I've seen on /furry/ or elsewhere that they'd like something with less of a focus on porn, and I'm interested in that too.
There does seem to be more discussion threads now on /furry/ than there have been in the past I'll say.
However I'm still interested in checking for interest. I'm not concerned with trying to kick /furry/ of the front page, I just want a space with even more discussion.

Why is picture related happening?
If you look at the two threads, one thread is above the other even though the thread below it has more recent posts.
The only idea I had is that the thread advertising the sim outrun, is being posted into by a moderator or board volunteer then having the post deleted to artificially keep it on the first page. Furthermore, the thread remained on the first page fairly long, even on occasions when the last post in the thread was from September 28th, with threads with posts in October remaining below it. I hope someone can come forward with a better reason than I just came up with for why that may be occurring.
I mean it's almost like board volunteers are accepting bribes from sim owners to shill their sims for them.
