Today I did something I've not done in a very long time, which was adding and having a conversation with a complete stranger a former hikki from 8chan that offered to solve my problem of having no online friends in an instant messenger Tox, anonymously. It was pretty amazing, a lot of the things he said made things click in my mind, and it triggered a bit of an epiphany in me.

He also gave me an idea for my next self-improvement objective, which I can't believe I didn't think of myself: taking a bus up to the library, applying for a library card, getting some books, and going back home, which is about 3 birds with one stone. The hardest part here besides figuring out which bus, or even which bus stop will be registering for a library card I think, I've never done the whole "speaking to the receptionist" thing before.

I got two personal-sized pizzas from Domino's last night, Vegi Volcano and Tandoori Hot, they were FUCKING delicious. I might get them again next week. They've renewed my faith in Domino's–the last one I had, a few months back, made me wake up in the night and vomit. It was very heavy on the meat, and I think that was the problem, so I'll go with the smaller and less meaty ones from now on.

I have experience in what they want done. Probably enough to negotiate.

I even pulled out my Job Interview Shirt, which I wear for literally nothing else.

Decided not to fuck with traffic, and went straight from work to the interview after grabbing lunch.

Minor panic when I missed a turn trying to copy the rat-run I picked up from the drivers at work, but I found another one. And THAT one actually skipped straight to near where I wanted to go. Fuck yeah, subconscious navigation.

Then there was half an hour of confusion on finding the right damn section of industrial estate. Fortunately, the place I was interviewing was next to the one I'd worked at for a day as a temp, for the promotion on Walkers Baked.
