First, I'll run another Afterparty movie for the next session. While dependent on any delays in the /grim/ program, the 15 minute break should start around 0742 UTC (or 12:42 am Pacific), which puts the movie start at 0757 UTC (or 12:57 am Pacific). This movie will be Halloween III: Season of the Witch.

Because hardly anyone showed up for the first warm-up movie this week, I'm only running two this Saturday afternoon. I have a special feature in store for the last (handoff) bumper though!

Even if it comes back up tonight, I'm canceling the showing of Halloween III: Season of the Witch because I don't feel like waiting to see what happens. If they're still down when it's time to stream the Saturday afternoon movies (3 PM Pacific, 2200 UTC), then those will be cancelled as well.

Turnout is usually between 25 and 35 viewers at peak, but only half of them log in (which is required to be able to chat) so it doesn't feel like there are that many.

That's just for the weekend shows though. This week I decided to try an experiment in weeknight streaming, which proved to be a complete failure. I had one logged-in viewer with me for Part One, and none for Part Two. If I'm effectively watching alone, I can do that whenever I feel like it, and non-chatting lurkers may as well not be there as far as participation goes. That's why I cancelled the remaining parts and won't attempt any more weeknight streams.

Due to a scheduling conflict, n1x_ will be unable to start Modern Foreign Horror until 10:11 pm Pacific, Friday October 30. (That's 0511 UTC, on the morning of Saturday, October 31.) I was intending to run a film after his set, but instead I will run one before his set, at the original 8 pm (0300 UTC) start time.

So here's the new plan:

ConnectCast has failed again, just like it did two weeks ago -- with SIX MINUTES to go in the first movie. Last time it came back after about 40 minutes so I'll give it up to an hour (assuming anyone stays around).

However, I will probably drop Slither from the schedule and only show two movies because of the delay, assuming we get back on the air at all – and this will be my last stream until/unless I can find a more reliable hosting site. I've fucking had it with ConnectCast.
