If I remember correctly he beats everyone's ass and kills most of them in the most comical way (putting a cube over Cyclops's face and suffocating him, turning Wolverine into putty, Spiderman getting his head crushed with a stone, etc.) and in the end is convinced to restart everything to whoop their ass again. Then Nebula steals the gauntlet off his hand when he's focused on fighting every cosmic being in the universe like abstract ideas such as Order and Chaos along with Galactus. The art is pretty cool because it's real out there but the story is goofy as fuck. Pretty shitty story to adapt to a movie.

The purpose of the story is goofy though. Death says there's too many beings in the universe and tasks Thanos to wipe out half of them. He does it because he loves her. That said, there was plenty of cool moments and it's a real shame because the comic has some real colorful, rich pictures with every superhero.
