If I had to give a "true" definition of reddit, I would say it is movies that are good to give you the cool the appearance you are a cinema fan with great taste that enhance your social value, which is what normies care about the most.
So, in theory, a movie like The Green Elephant couldn't possibly be reddit because knowing it wouldn't add up to your social capital, therefore the only reason to like it is because you genuinely enjoy kino. But that is false, any movie, no matter how anti-social and fucked it is, or how boring, or how fringe, can be used to add social capital, depending on your social circle.
In fact, many of the most popular movies would be anti-reddit, because enjoying them is unpopular and decreases your social capital (like say, Adam Sandler movies).
