Why waste time discussing such a non-factor as pagans? A small handfull on /pol/ can be decent in the "purgatory of moral but misguided pagans" way, but for the most part any time spent clashing with the rest is time wasted compared to what could be done to spread the light of the church. Why attack something so small and unimportant when we could build up our own relevant and powerful body of Christ? Harken back to our own rise, when you take something small and weak on the fringes and attack it you just give it attention and martyrs.

Not necessarily exclusively liturgically approved, but music made by Christians that's obviously Christian as evidenced by the lyrical content. I mean, instrumental music can mean anything to anyone. But if there's a chorus singing, FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN…AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED…MIGHTY GOD, then it's kind of unavoidably Christian even to the heathenest of heathens.

I'm not really a fan of most CCM anyway and still listen to a lot of the punk / "emo" stuff i liked in my atheist days

There are plenty of great artists who are wholesome yet do not make explicitly religious music. I feel it is okay as long as the music does not weigh on your conscious, and it helps if the music has a positive energy rather than pure anger and hatred. My favourite band is Prefab Sprout: their frontman and singer Paddy McAloon is religious and was going to train to be a Catholic priest before committing to music and he mentions God a lot in the music but its mostly love songs and random stuff. He is probably the most skilled songwriter I know of.

So just listen to whatever music you like and that makes you feel warm and doesn't impinge on your relationship with God.

My great-grandmother is in hospital with ill health.. She raised my mother and has played the role of grandmother to me and is a marvelous woman, in case you feel a great-grandmother is not that special to someone. She turned to Christ a few years ago after a whole lifetime of sin without faith, but unfortunately it is a pentecostal liberal church…I hope she has sufficient faith, she is getting older and weaker.
