A lot of people are coming to the inescapable conclusion that the state of the modern west is because people rejecting God in favor of their own desires. More and more people are coming back to traditional Christianity as a way of retaining good cultural values in a zeitgeist that attacks anything that disallows them from exercising their own disordered passions.

Is there a hope? A chance? Can Christianity overcome the depraved secular west?

Sorry, but you are not convincing me; 99.9% of Western people, many of whom happen to identify as Christians, would call that racist. As for the anti-white ideas, I have heard mostly left leaning persons, some of whom are Christians.

As for the whole “anti-white”…it is something I can’t believe: we Italians never identified as white, only as Italians and that saved us from assimilation from other nearby Countries (many of whom were European people); Europe was and is not a monolithic identity, and I never found a definition of whiteness and its attributes which satisfied my people or me. And most Italians do not see themselves as white, like I wrote for myself, but as Italians, and specifically:

Aostani

Lombardi

Piemontesi

Friulani

Trentini

Veneti

Emiliani

Romagnoli

Liguri

Toscani

etc…because that’s our core identity: part of Europe, part of Italy, belonging to a region and a city or village. Please, don’t misunderstand me… I’m afraid for the survival of all the people of Europe and I agree many of our religious leaders failed us. But there are also many silent ones who are on our side, and they are speaking to their little flocks and encouraging them to resist this decadent and corrupting fads.

I’m coming to you from a different background, so I have my biases on many topics; I just have done my thinking and I’m a firm believer true Christian faith, not the watered down version which is often shown but which is not the actual majority, is one of the core pillars, together with love of family and of Country, which shall save us.

I’m not here to say you haven’t understood, or that I’m smarter; I am earnestly trying to make you understand why I still hold hope in the Christ. And at least I shall die knowing I was siding with the Eternal Truth.

>The most I heard was some trad priest saying that race mixed marriages might not be the best idea, but he would never say it's objectively wrong, because he can't say that.

Because there's no canon against it(there is against religiously mixed marriages, though).

Keeping one's country demographically stable is a "side-effect' of them staying true to God, though.

objectively speaking the whole vid was pretty cringe tbh, 'the left this! the left that! cultural marxism smh! life was better back in the day when i wasn't alive! the left smh again!' Not saying he's wrong in his judgements but for a 'rediscovering Christanity' vid he couldn't have made it any larpier. There was no confession of sin or acknowledging his own sinfulness and the resulting humility or inward contemplation, just finger pointing and blaming and pining for based trad times to ensure western civ's rescue as the priority. Said he didn't know if there was an afterlife, although later may imply belief/hope for universalism, refrained from calling God by personal pronoun and instead referred to him as a 'higher power,' seemed to imply he may understand salvation as being works based, but that may just be a cynical reading of his poorly chosen words. Idk if he's read the NT and knows about the eshcaton but vid sucked ass imo 4/10. also, God pill and not bread pill, come on I hope he comes around to clearer thinking on it all.

How do Christians choose one version of Christianity over another? How can all of you be so certain that your Bible is 100% accurate and that other Bible is not? How can you be sure that you are actually putting your faith in God himself, and not simply the word of other men? I am willing and able to accept the general worldview of Christianity as true, what I can't understand is how can one know which books are the true word of God and Christ and which are tainted? If they are all written by men, how can you put your faith in them and call it faith in God? Clearly some details were made up by men, and most are wse words written with good intentions, but how do you… Find certainty? Faith? Truth? I think Christianity is more or less the truth, but how do you know which sources on the subject are trustworthy and which aren't? How can you all be so sure of the specific versions you chose to beleive? I'm finding myself lost in life lately and have had these questions most of my life, but never found good answers. I come from a Christian background have been pretty agnostic my entire life. I do absolutely beleive there is a God at least, but I don't have any firm beliefs on who or what God is exactly. I'm genuinely lost and looking for help here.

Just rule out the ones that have logical and theological flaws and you'll have the truth

>The Bible is the word of God

>The Church that compiled the Bible must of been endorsed by God else the Bible they made is wrong

>Therefore the Church at that time the Bible was compiled must be The True Church™

>Therefore Protestantism is false because the Church at the time that was endorsed by God promoted the Eucharist, Baptism of Children and Veneration of saints.

Then Jesus breathing on the Apostles for them to receive the Holy Spirit and other Biblical evidence/foreshadowing of the Filioque and the papal office (Among other things) rules out Orthodoxy, leaving you with Catholicism.

>>Therefore the Church at that time the Bible was compiled must be The True Church™

You're right, but you're forgetting you splintered off Orthodoxy

>foreshadowing of the Filioque

Oh, Suddenly the pope had the power to create grace, makes perfect sense. If the pope can create grace, then salvation can come from following the pope, and if salvation can come from following the pope, why would he have a personal reason to remain in the truth? And why wouldn't power seeking people try to acquire that seat? Oh look they did, and the Reformation was the result.

Savonarola did nothing wrong.

Sorry if the question is dumb.

I'm from a muslim family (I'm a turk). So my family wants that I also be a muslim. They don't know that I don't believe in Islam. And they of course don't know that I believe in Christianity. They won't hurt me if I would convert (they aren't ultra strict arabs). But they would be sad and disappointed. They think that Islam is the right religion and think that I would burn in hell if I wouldn't be a muslim. That's why I'm going to convert when I move out.

That means I'm not baptized or anything else. So I wanted to ask, if I could pray to god when I'm not baptized.

Speaking with authority about stuff you have absolutely no clue about shows low IQ, also called stupidity.

>The miracles of the Saint are many, not only towards Christians [Romans], who approached always with great reverence (in olden times there wasn’t a Christian family which had not visited Koudouna at least once a year), but towards everyone without exception, who approach his grace with faith. Thus there is a great mass of people who come from other faiths from throughout Turkey. The pilgrims number about 250,000 a year, the majority being Turks. The great iron gate of the Monastery, as we learn from its engraving in Greek and Turkish, was offered from the Muslim Rasoul Efenti, as a gift of gratitude towards the Saint for the healing of his wife.

I want to build up my physique but apparently, as Catholics, we are called to eat only one meal a day (not that we must but rather, we should strive for it). There's no way you'll be able to meet all of your body's caloric and nutritional needs with one single meal which basically means you can't do anything that would raise those requirements - meaning no bodybuilding.

Well the traditional catholic position would be that many EO or other people are under a form of spiritual delusion. Heyachism was strongly looked down on and considered heretical and probably opening you up to demonic forces and so on. Of course post V2 all they can do is praise heretics and spit on "traditionalists" but you already know the score there. Doesn't change the fact that all heretics go to hell and also doesn't change that every single "Eastern Orthodox" is a heretic, because they reject Unam Sanctam. I don't know how this meme of "schismatics" is around in the 21st Century.

In fact even during the actual schism, if they claimed that the Filioque was "heretical", that itself makes them heretics. But Unam Sanctam makes it explicitly clear that every single EO is a heretic. If you accept Unam Sanctam, then you are an Eastern Catholic, not an EO.

I mean this according to the Dawkins definition of a meme. Namely, "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture—often with the aim of conveying a particular phenomenon, theme, or meaning represented by the meme."

Things that they sincerely believe about Christianity and use over and over again despite how erroneous it is or how many times it has been refuted, and yet persists. I'm trying to come up with a list of them.

Some examples:

>If Christians hate homosexuality, they should also abstain from pork, not wear mixed fabrics, [enter Levetical laws here]; they just cherry-pick

>Christianity is an opiate of the masses, invented to mind-control people into subservience

>The Christian religion couldn't sustain itself if it didn't indoctrinate children and get them brain-washed before the age of reason

>If there were a god, he'd have to be evil to allow innocent children to suffer

>If Christians believed in science instead of faith, they'd be atheist, because science and faith are diametrically opposed

>If Christians were empirical, they'd be atheist, because there is no empirical or historical evidence in favor of Christianity

>If Christians were rational, they'd be atheist, because there are no rational arguments in favor of Christianity

>Christianity would have never existed if bronze-aged people hadn't been so gullible and unintelligent

>If Christianity were so "good," there wouldn't be so many people who have done bad things in the name of Christianity

>If god was real, why would he wait so long to appear and leave humanity without a god for the first several thousands of years?

>If god was real, why didn't he appear during the modern age when humanity had the ability to record and test his miracles?

Give me more. I'm sure I'm missing common ones. Give me those arguments or statements that are so absurd thaPost too long. Click here to view the full text.

You could also add this good fella. He was more into religion, alchemy and the occult than he was into physics. When he wrote the "Principia" he didn't write it out of detailed scientific investigations, but out of pure intuition about how the world worked, which he had developed through his religious/occult studies. It's no coincidence that the greatest scientist, the ones who bring forth changes of paradigm, tend to be extremely religious (Schrodinger and Bohr were also deep into the occult). Science is about understanding reality and finding the truth, and those who are serious about knowing try to understand the religious side of human existence.

I'm not encouraging anyone to get into occultism, though. It's mostly a great waste of time, 99.9% of it is bollocks. There are some things of value here and there, specially in alchemy, but those are things taken from Christian philosophy, so if you wanna go metaphysical, go Christian.

I went to Mass today for Easter at a different parish than the one I regularly go to since I went with my grandmother. My parish is full of mostly old people, but surprisingly at her parish it's a lot more mixed. I saw a lot of pretty church girls there (don't worry I didn't lust after them or anything). After the Mass everyone gathered into a coffee hall to share some breakfast. I wish I could've talked to at least one of those girls but I didn't get the chance. It just makes me really sad because I wish I had a girlfriend. A nice, beautiful, loving, Godly girlfriend that I could marry one day. I've never held a girl in my arms before, nor have I ever kissed one. Maybe I'm just too ugly or stupid… :( I know I'm still young but I've been out of school a little while at this point and I feel like I missed so many milestones someone my age should've already experienced. Please pray that God will help me find the right woman. O Lord, please help me. Please help me find a girl to love. :(

Oh, Ok. I am not woman and not an englishman.

>America

yeah maybe that's the issue but this shit comes to Europe too for sure. One of them I know little, we were together for few months…but my ex and the current gf are both classified as unicorns by today's standards. So I guess right now I have found second unicorn…and I want to continue my bloodline so I will take the chances…maybe it's the thing that our countries are very different, mine is not as degenerate as yours to make me that pessimist about everything.

My first and foremost point was not that you are defeatist, but that dating is not a sin. You guys never expanded on that besides calling out the degeneracy of modern age. Then you claim that all dating is futile because women are degenerate. Well let us suppose there are few good women at least in my area there are. In your area there might be less of them…but God may send you a good woman. I was on the verge of being defeatist half a year ago.

>Does this make us "defeatists" like you say?

Nope. But I don't know man. The european birth rates are all time low and we're not doing fine so I will rather waste time trying than doing nothing at all. I know it is not everything, but I think this is my path so I will take it. If you feel like you have a different path, be on it, sure.

Courting is not the same as dating. Dating is a vague modern concept that may or may not involve fornication. It also involves the man investing money, time into strangers that he barely gets to know. That is not how couples used to meet in Christian societies.

Then the word of the Lord came to me: “You must not marry and have sons or daughters in this place.” For this is what the Lord says about the sons and daughters born in this land and about the women who are their mothers and the men who are their fathers: “They will die of deadly diseases. They will not be mourned or buried but will be like dung lying on the ground. They will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the wild animals.” (Jeremiah 16:1-4)

In the same boat at 28.

I've finally been made to understand that it would be a mistake for me to marry right now.

A husband must be able to guide and teach his wife and children spiritually, with knowledge, conviction, careful study, and grace, and furthermore he must do it constantly.

I am not capable of that right now. I've always been soft on this.

Anons, you must become mature men of Christ who can teach if you wish to be husbands.

>going to event on a Sunday

>decide to do it after church because it fits perfectly in the schedule

>three of my childhood friends help me with a small chore a few months ago so I decide to buy them a ticket

>tell them to come meet at church, where we have a fairly late service (starts an hour before noon)

>the losers are asleep until around 1, despite several phone calls

>they make it to the event after calling and bothering me while I'm trying to take advantage of getting there early with three non loser friends

>they look like pathetic bums who haven't showered in days and can't bother to shave their terribly grown facial hair or brush their hair or wear fresh clothing

>hurr durr sorry anon, we wuz asleep lol, but thanks for the tickets

Same day:

>my wife's kid sister is home from college

>who we pick up from the airport every time she comes, whose college we cover 1/4 for out of the kindness of our hearts to help her parents

>we want to take her to church

>we tell her we'll come pick her up and then we'll treat her to breakfast at the best place we know

>she moans and cries and makes excuses

>we end up getting to her parents' house only to go right back because she begged her mom not to go, her mom saying that we should take her once she wants to go on her own accord

>she's taking gender studies that she's swallowing up fully, her friends are LGBTBBQ, her program is full of junkie degenerates and rich kid hedonists, and the entire culture of his God-forsaken country is anti-Christ

>I've given her short, good quality books to read when she's over here to think about things on her own, mostly ethics and bare basic apologetics, with the intention that she read them while at college

>the books are all in her room's shelf, never been opened or even left her parents' house

This is really foolish. We can all agree that supporting tuition at a secular co-ed college is retarded, but there's a bigger issue.

Women need headship, first from her father, then from her husband. There can be no gap between headships, or she will find another head on her own, and this is often the secular world. I've seen this happen numerous times, even in my own family. Removing the influence of a godly male is poison. 9/10 times, maybe 99/100 times, a woman shouldn't go to college, and NEVER to a secular college.

A woman's God-given role is to be a wife and a mother like the Proverbs 31 woman. Education isn't bad, but thrusting an impressionable young woman into today's god-hating academic and god-hating hookup culture is very, very bad.

You've been working hard and paying money to help damn her.

You need to repent. You need to cut off the funding. You also need to reprimand your father-in-law for his ungodly, careless attitude towards his daughter. It's because of him that she's likely lost at this point. You need to assert that you were both wrong to send her to school. He'll probably think you're being too radical, but the commands of scripture are radical.

I beg forgiveness if I've told you wrong.

Great, original post is gone, but he heavily implied they're lost forever and you shouldn't even bother to try to convince them to give up their sinful ways. No-one is beyond forgiveness or repentance. Prodigal son, lost sheep, the woman finding the lost talent, all about rejoicing that the vile reprobate changes their ways and returns to Christ.

Frank's a jesuit. Jesuits specialized in infiltrating protestant nations like britain during the counter reformation and invented tools like mental reservation to get away with it.

Theyre more or less specialists in catholic taqiya… sneaky, duplicitous…but absolutely working for the benefit of the church and against secularism. They look like heretics because they have to look non-threatening to the enemy.
